"You honestly expect me to kiss you after you killed at least twenty walkers?"
"Yes?"
"You're something else, Prise."
"But that's why you love me, Di...

"Hey. I know it's been a while. I'm gonna be honest, I forgot about you. After the farm, we were always moving. But something happened. Something good. Finally. We found a prison." And that's when the steady breathing of Daryl and Beth could be heard in a slight echo. Their footsteps sounding off in the leafy area and Benny and Tilly close behind them. "Daddy thinks we can make it into a home." A walker snarls loudly over them as it chases the four. "He says we can grow crops in the field, have pigs and chickens, stop running, stop scavenging. Lori's baby is just about due. She'll need a safe place when it comes."
Beth clicks her gun, trying to get the walker off her, but nothing comes out. Daryl comes up behind it, shooting an arrow in its head as he fights off the other.
Benny slams Natalie's baseball bat into its head while they run further away. "The rest of us, we just need a safe place to be. I woke up in my own bed yesterday. My own bed in my own room. But I've been keeping my backpack. Keeping my gun close. I've been afraid to get my hopes up thinking we can actually stay here. The thing is, I've been starting to get afraid that it's easier just to be afraid. But this morning Daddy said something. If you don't have hope, what's the point of living?"
Beth and everyone fell to the ground, taking a deep breath of air their muscles have been craving for. "So I unpacked my bag and I found you. So I'm gonna start writing in you again. And I'm gonna write this down now because you should write down wishes to make them come true. We can live here."
They look up to see the birds circling them as Tilly cries harder. "We can live here for the rest of our lives."

Natalie looks down at a photograph of her and Daryl in her hands. She felt a tear slide down her face as she saw the smile on hers in the photo. She was so happy, her eyes gleaming a bright brown and his own were almost the shade of electricity.
A grin plastered on his usually stolid face and she kissed his cheek right after. It was this moment she told him that she loved him.
And she did. She loved him and knowing he was possibly dead made her insides light on fire. They were crumpling inside as she sobbed softly and rubbed her eyes when the sound of footsteps came through.
She swallowed her tears and the girl looked up to find Michonne smiling sadly over towards her. "Hey, you okay?" She asked and the woman sighed.
