Spider (Request)

I continued lathering my hair, feeling the water run over me after a long day. I sighed once, humming a light tune to go along with my increasingly good mood. 

I turned around to get more shampoo and screamed. A spider, as big around as the bottom of a cup, inched up the wall.

"Niall!" I exclaimed. My fear of spiders was completely irrational, but it didn't mean I didn't have the fear. 

"What? What?" he called from behind the door. I felt my heart pounding in my chest. 

"There's a spider in the shower," I said loud enough so he could hear me. 

"Okay, well are you in a towel?" he asked.

"No, I'm still in the-" I let out another blood curdling scream when the spider slipped on the condensation from the steam and landed in between my feet. I heard the door fly open, and the curtain did as well. 

"Cover yourself," he instructed. I grabbed a towel off the wall, soaking it in the shower water but not caring. He grabbed a cup from by the sink and put it over the spider, flipping the cup deftly and putting the spider in the toilet, flushing away all my worries. 

He looked at me when he was done, furrowing his eyebrows in worry. A few tears were rushing down my face, or myabe it was the water from the shower head. He pulled me into a hug, sighing against me. 

"Are you okay?" he asked. I nodded, but I was still a little shaken up. "You've got shampoo in your hair," he chuckled, running one of his hands over my head, coming back with a lather-covered hand. I smiled. 

"Thank you, Niall." He rinsed off his hand before leaning over to kiss me lightly. 

"I'd never let anything hurt you."
