I pushed him out the back door, snickering when he tripped over his feet.
"Hurry up and get out of here!" I whispered, trying to get him out of my sight. "He'll see you!"
"Bye! Love you, babe," he winked, making my heart soar.
"Sabryn!" I heard my dad call. I tensed up, continuing to see Niall off. He disappeared over the fence, and I turned to see my dad walk into the kitchen.
"Hey," I smiled, shutting the glass door behind me.
"What are you doing?" he wondered, furrowing his eyebrows at me. I chuckled like nothing was being hidden.
"I saw a rabbit outside and tried to chase it," I giggled, full-out lying. His expression softened, and I relaxed against the wall behind me.
"I was just coming in to say hi," he shrugged, loosening up abit. I nodded, smiling. He hummed at me, stepping out of the room.
I heard the doorbell sound off, and I perked up, wondering who it could be. When one of the possibilities came to me, my stomach dropped.
"I'll get it," my dad called, rushing to the door.
"No, Dad-" It was too late; the door was open, and Niall was there.
"What is he doing here?" my dad almost growled. I looked to Niall, furrowing my eyebrows at him and why he would come back.
"I-" he started, being rudely interrupted.
"I told you to stay away from this house and my daughter," my dad said lowly, glaring at Niall. I approached my dad, gently pulling him away from the door.
"Stay out of this, Sabryn," he spat at me, pushing me away.
"He's-"
"He's a hooligan who scratched my car, and he doesn't deserve the right to be here!" he yelled, making me inhale sharply.
"Dad!" I exclaimed, throwing up my hands. I looked to the door as he waited for the rest of my rant, but Niall wasn't there. I quickly ran out of the door, bounding down the steps and after him into the twilight.
"Niall!" I called, seeing him stop. I stood in front of him, watching the steam almost come out of his ears.
"I'm sorry," I sighed, shaking my head.
"So am I. I should just get out of your life," he breathed out, shrugging sadly.
"What?" I asked quietly. He nodded.
"If he hates me, then why shouldn't you?" he wondered, tapping his foot impatiently. The light in his eyes was draining like the sun on the horizon.
I choked on my words, unable to believe what he was saying.
"We're done," he spoke, turning to walk away. My legs refused to move, like my lips, and then I realized what I would be losing if he walked away.
I finally budged, running in front of him and pulling his lips onto mine as a desperate measure for the words I couldn't say.
To my surprise and disappointment, he pushed me away forcefully but still holding onto me. His eyes met mine, and his expression quickly turned. It was like the sun had risen again but in his eyes.
"Don't you see how much I lo-" He kissed me once again, harder than ever before, and I knew that neither of us could truly ever let go.
