"You have to find the measure of angle B," I told him, pointing to what I was talking about on his paper.

"You have to find the measure of angle B," he repeated in a small, quiet voice. I stared over at him, chuckling to myself.

He continued working on the math, but I was already done, so I had nothing to do but watch him.

"What do I do here?" he wondered, glancing up at me. I took his pencil from his hands and slid the paper in front of me.

"Plug that number into the equation to get the angle," I reminded him, drawing an arrow. He nodded, speaking to himself once more in my voice, with my words.

"Why are you copying me?" I wondered, smiling over at him. Niall was cute, yes, and his personality was quite lovely, but I could tell he liked someone else.

"I'm not," he shrugged, looking as cute and clueless as usual.

"Whatever you say," I smiled to myself, seeing his friend, Liam, walk over.

"Don't you ever think we need a boat for the land? Like a land-boat?" he wondered, glancing at me but speaking to Niall.

"You mean a car?" I snorted, watching his face fall.

"Oh," he sighed, laughing and then walking away.

"You mean a car?" Niall repeated me for a third time. I quickly looked over at him, and he furrowed his eyebrows at me.

"I am copying you," he realized, looking a little shocked and embarrassed.

"Some say that copying is the highest form of flattery," I spoke, blinking at him. I tapped my finger on his homework when he just kept staring at me, wanting for him to get it done so he could go talk to his friends some more.

"It's not," he denied, and I shrugged.

"I wouldn't know much about flattery," I laughed, turning to face him once I could tell that he wanted to keep talking.

"Do you know what it should be?" he asked, raising one eyebrow. I chuckled, knowing he was just trying to be smart with me.

"Do enlighten me," I grinned, caught off guard when he leaned over in the middle of study hall to kiss me on my mouth. I thought he would just make a point, but he brought me closer and kept kissing me.

And it felt like more than flattery.

Our lips clicked faintly as they parted, and I tried to hide the blush rising in my cheeks and the pounding in my chest.

"That," he beamed, getting straight back to his work.
