Wait (Request)

"Oh my gosh," I let out, watching the scenery move in front of me. The wind pushed the hair off of my shoulders slowly as it flowed through the window.

"Do you like it?" he wondered, stepping closer from behind me. The sunset over the ocean my heart swell, knowing Niall had planned this all for me.

"Where are we?" I breathed, not able to take my eyes off of the colors I felt like I could touch. The salt in the air was making me nostalgic; I loved the ocean.

"Greece," he grinned from beside me. "More specifically Santorini." I only caught a glimpse of him before hugging him as I could.

"Emma," he squeaked. "You're crushing me." I let go of him slowly, still keeping him close.

"Why do they call it a honeymoon?" I asked suddenly, the thought randomly entering my mind.

"Because we'll be up all night with the moon," he smirked, hungrily pressing his lips to mine, both of us stumbling backwards. He continued to kiss me, putting more of himself into it with each second. His hands moved to my waist, his fingers lingering on the hem of my shirt. When he started to push it up, I realized his intentions (which should have been obvious).

"Niall," I spoke, pushing away from him. His eyes met mine instantly, my heart pounding. "I don't think we should do this," I told him, the panic running through me speaking louder than anything else.

"It'll be fine. I'm right here," he smiled, leaning in to kiss me once again.

"No," I stopped him. "I don't think I should do this," I rephrased, and his grip on me loosened. "It doesn't feel like the right time." His eyes softened, the lust fading away.

"I'm sorry," he sighed, letting his hands slip away. My mouth stayed shut as I looked back out towards the ocean as the last of the sun dipped into the sea.

"I'm willing to wait as long as you need," he said calmly and gently, taking my hand in his. I breathed out, the panic in my heart dulling.

"All good things come to those who wait."
