Cool (Request)

I let out a shriek as I tumbled into the water, smiling when I came back up.

"Let's do it again!" I exclaimed, smiling as Niall pulled me up. I had known him for a while, all while jet-skiing. His dad owned the company that I went to. He was a nice guy.

I stumbled getting onto the boat, briefly falling into his bare chest. I blushed and looked away, pretending it hadn't happened.

"You should've seen your face," he laughed, signaling for the driver to head off again.

"It was fun, though," I retorted, smiling at the beautiful day and breathing in the wind.

"I'm next," he smirked. I watched him trail behind the boat, water spraying up behind him. When he finally flopped into the water, I laughed. He swam over, reaching his hand out for me to grab. I took it in mine, but he just looked smug with himself. I furrowed my eyebrows at him, but before I knew it, he pulled me into the water.

I screamed before submerging, hitting him lightly when I came back up.

"I was nearly dry," I scowled, trying not to laugh.

"Too bad," he smiled, frowning a few seconds later as we both continued to tread water. "You've got sunburn," he pointed out, staring at me.

"I put sunscreen on," I frowned, trying to think if my face had felt hot at all.

"I'm a pretty cool guy, you know," he smirked, running a hand through his flattened hair.

"And you think you can cure my sunburn?" I chuckled humorlessly. It was a wound that healed with time.

"Sure," he grinned, shrugging. I continued to attempt not to drown in the water that was probably fifty feet deep.

"Where am I burnt, doctor?" I asked, beaming at him.

"Your lips," he exhaled. I furrowed my eyebrows.

"What-" Before I could finish my question of confusion, he pressed his lips to mine, taking my waist under the water.

But he was wrong, for in fact his lips were not cool, but they burnt with the fire of something new and dangerous.
