My eyes slowly opened, being met with a bright light. I thought it was the sun, blinding me one more day of the summer.

"Happy one year anniversary!" I heard Niall yell. I tried to focus on what was in front of me as I sat up, and I saw fire. A candle.

A tired smile slowly slid onto my expression, and I looked up at him holding a bowl of my favorite cereal with a candle stuck in the middle.

"Make a wish," he smiled, handing me the bowl. I searched for the right thing.

I want this day to be perfect, I wished to myself, closing my eyes. I blew out the candle, gazing at him in adoration.

"Get ready for the day," he instructed, kissing me on the forehead. My heart was full, just from that one small act of kindness.

I ate my cereal, taking a shower and changing into my clothes for the day afterwards (pic to the side).

"I've got the whole day planned," he smiled, handing me a wad of cash. I furrowed my eyebrows, still abit tired.

"What's this for?" I asked, flipping through the individual dollars.

"Anything you want," he shrugged, putting his wallet back in his pocket.

"I love you," I smiled, leaning over to peck him on the cheek.

"I love you, too," he beamed, throwing an arm around my shoulders.

"Ready to go?" I nodded at him, and we set off.

We window shopped in downtown London, and he wouldn't let us go home until I bought at least two things. I tricked him into letting me buy both of us coffee.

We began to walk home, and when we got there, he told me to go find my present in the garage, and he'd meet me inside.

I searched for a few minutes, finding nothing with a bow or price tag.

Pushing open the door, I called to him.

"Niall! I couldn't find it," I whined, slipping off my shoes and flipping on the lights.

"SURPRISE!" I heard. A whole herd of my friends mixed with Niall's were there, scaring the pants off of me.

I hugged every single one of them, saying how happy I was that they were there.

We talked for hours, eating and playing games. At one point, Niall set up a table in our living room with like twenty presents on it.

Every single one was from someone different, and Niall was keeping his for last.

"Okay. Open it," he smiled, seeming jittery. I rolled my eyes, smiling at him. My whole body was warm with love.

I ripped off the wrapping paper, and it was a box. I opened the box, and there was another box.

"What is it?" Liam wondered. I laughed at him.

I opened every single box until it got down the very smallest, and I held that one in my hand for what seemed like the longest second in my life.

Suddenly, I was opening the box, and Niall was on one knee, and people behind me were hooting, and I couldn't believe it.

"Will you marry me?" My mouth hung wide open, and I glanced down at my beautiful ring once more.

"Yes," I breathed out, feeling the greatest amount of happiness flood over me.

After everyone had gone home and wrapping paper had been picked up off the floor, I slumped down on the couch.

"I'm so tired," I complained, watching him come and sit next to me. He grasped my left hand, and I felt the ring shift on my finger.

"Did you like it all?" he wondered, the fatigue evident in his voice.

"I did," I answered. "But-"

"But?" he inquired, tensing beside me.

"All of the presents were great, but all I really want at the end of the day is you," I said softly.

"What if I can't give me to you?" he wondered. I thought for a second, and then smiled.

"You just promised to," I countered, waving the ring on my finger at him. He chuckled quietly, kissing me right above my ear.

"And if you had said no, I would have told you to leave," I smirked. I expected something as small as a smile from him, but he was silent. I turned to look at him.

"I'm not going anywhere."
