Texting (Request)

I was pretty surprised when we won. I mean, millions of other girls entered into the contest, but Nikki, Pam and I were picked.

We were able to fly to One Direction's concert in Miami and meet them backstage after the show. I didn't know much about them, but I loved their music.

So, the show was freaking amazing, but I wasn't all excited like they were about seeing them.

"Do they know our names?" Nikki wondered anxiously as we were led backstage.

"I doubt it," Pam scoffed as we walked into a room. They stood there, all five of them, and looked up at us as we walked in.

We greeted each other, but the blonde one, Niall, was too busy texting someone to care that much.

I glared at him as the rest of them talked to Nikki and Pam. He glanced up at me, but then looked away. Once he realized I was unhappy, he reluctantly put his phone away.

"I'm Niall," he shrugged. I chuckled.

"I got that." I rolled my eyes. "What's so important that you have to text?" I wondered, watching him cross his arms over his chest defensively.

"None of your business," he spat, making me flinch.

"I mean, we flew all the way out here for a phenomenal concert, so you could have some respect," I suggested, watching him smile to himself so shortly that I almost didn't catch it.

"You know?" I wondered. "R-e-s-p-e-c-t?" I sang, quoting the song. He let his arms fall to his side, grinning.

"I like you. Can I get your number?" he asked bluntly. I blinked at him.

"Well, if you're texting that much then yeah," I chuckled, pulling out my phone.

"I'd text you way more than that," he mumbled, making me feel excited for what was to come.
