When I saw him impatiently waiting for me outside my school, I ran as fast as I could then I squealed and hugged him, "I PASSED MATH!!!" I shouted. Oh my freakin' goodness. I passed my final math exam! I passed my last exam in Math, holy crap, I can't even! He hugged me back and congratulated me. Masayang masaya pa rin ako. His hug tightened and that was where I realized I had to move.
He smiled genuinely, "Congrats, Mia. Sakto, sem break na. You have to go with us," Dale asked. Wow, 'have' talaga? Hindi man lang ako tinanong. Oh I forgot, kahit naman tanungin niya ako, mapipilitan pa rin naman akong sumunod sa kanya. Nakakainis!
"Papaalam muna ako," Sabi ko. "Wait, saan muna?"
"Ilocos. We'll stay there for a week. Invite Jess, too," He smiled. He looks and sounds excited.
"Si Stephen, hindi mo aayain?" I frowned. Syempre, gusto ko sumama si Stephen, pero I was just kidding and teasing him.
Umiwas siya ng tingin, "If it could make you happy, why not?" I laughed when he said that. He still doesn't like Stephen, but he can't do anything 'cause Stephen and I are good friends. Mas naging close nga kami ngayon, e. Siguro dahil alam kong nagkakagusto na siya kay Jess. Hindi naman ako nagtataka. Jess' a catch, you know.
Recently din, nagiging close ko na mga friends ni Dale including Harvey, of course. Pati nga sila Jessica and Stephen, close na rin sa kanila. Every weekend kasi, magaaya sila kung saan saan. Pinapagalitan na nga ako nila daddy dahil ang gala ko na daw. Buti na lang, pasado ako sa lahat ng courses ko. In fact, running for DL ako. Siguro naman okay lang na lumabas labas, diba? Hindi naman ako nagdudrugs no! Umiinom ako sometimes, but I don't smoke and use drugs. Mabait pa rin naman ako.
"W-Wait, kasama ba si Nichole?" I kind of stuttered. Si Nichole yung babae last time. Akala niya kasi pinagtatawanan ko siya. I sighed.
He looked at me accusingly, "Seriously? Are you really scared of her?"
I don't know why, but I'm slightly scared of her.
"No!" I denied. "Of course not. Why would I be scared?"
He chuckled, "Yeah. Why would you be scared of Nichole?" He teased.
*FLASHBACK*
Nichole is pretty, sexy, and tall, pero ang sungit niya! Simula noong dumating siya, she keeps on glaring at me. Tuwing tatawa ako, she would glare or roll her eyes. She's intimidating! I don't want to judge her, pero grabe! Wala naman akong ginawa sa kanya ah! Bakit siya ganito sa akin? And... paano ba niya ako nakilala?
"How did you know Mia, Nichole? Bet, you two would be really great friends!" Dale's mom said. Oh no, parang malabo ata.
"Oh! I've seen her on Dale and even Harvey's social media accounts. She's practically everywhere," She laughed, an insincere one.
After namin mag dinner kasama si Nichole, nagpaalam na si Dale sa kanila. Gabi na daw at kailangan na niya ako i-hatid. Wow, buti naisip niya 'yun. Kanina pa nga text ng text sa akin si Mommy. Buti na lang at malakas talaga si Dale sa kanya dahil noong siya na yung nagpaalam, ito lang sabi ni mommy:
