3RD PERSON
Lasing na si Mia. Mas lasing siya ngayon kaysa dati! Kung dati, tahimik lang siyang umiiyak hanggang sa makatulog na sa sobrang lasing. Ngayon, ang daldal niya at yung pagkadaldal niya, kakaiba talaga.
"You know what sucks? It's when you love someone and there's no... as in zero chance that he will love you back. Even if he kisses you ON THE LIPS, even if he protects you, even if he teases you..." She paused for a while and continued. "Do you know why X and Y are always together?"
Kanina pa rin siya pabago bago ng topic. Never din siya nag tagalog.
"No," Sabi ni Dale. Sila na lang dalawa ang nasa living room dahil iniwan sila ng mga kasamahan nila. Pagod na daw kasi sila at kailangan na nilang matulog. Nakahiga ngayon si Mia sa floor habang yung ulo niya, nasa lap ni Dale. Naka-indian seat naman si Dale at minamassage niya yung isang paa dahil sa ngawit.
"Oh yeah, you're handsome!" Sabi ni Mia sabay taas ng thumb niya.
"I know," Dale answered na parang wala lang. Gusto na rin niya matulog dahil madami na rin siyang nainom. Siya nga sumalo halos ng shot na dapat ay kay Mia. Ang gentleman, diba? Too bad, kay Mia lang siya ganoon.
"You're handsome and you don't have a girlfriend, how weird. Hey, you know what? I always tell myself I'm pretty even if I'm not. People call me pretty while Gerard..."
"Go to sleep... please," Sabi ni Dale. Nauumay na siya kaka-Gerard ni Mia.
"You tired of me? Yeah? Yeah?"
"No! I'm not tired of you, Mia. I'm tired for you. Stop it! You're not gonna remember what I'm gonna say, but I hope you do."
Mia kept quiet and exhaled, "What is it?"
"You're beautiful, pretty, gorgeous, and so on and so forth, but you're an idiot. You're naive and you're seriously lacking in self-esteem. If you want him to love you, value yourself. Show him that you love yourself more than you love that stupid boy."
"Call him a boy, but don't call him stupid!" Mia raised his index finger. Hindi niya pa rin dinidilat mata niya. Akala nga ni Dale, tulog na siya.
"He is stupid, pero hindi ko siya masisisi. You're obsessed with him and I don't blame you for being obsessed, but you have to fcking control it. You have to fcking control yourself! Is it that hard?"
"Yes... Do you know what it's like to feel so in the dark? To dream about a life, when you're the shining star." Bigla naman siyang kumanta ngayon ng 'This is Me' by Demi Lovato. Camp Rock pa talaga. For sure, hindi alam ni Dale yung kinakanta niya. Old school kasi siya.
"Just go to sleep," Dale gave up. He carried Mia to her room, pero locked na yung pinto. Kumatok siya ng kumatok, pero wala pa din. Wala siyang balak dalin si Mia kila Stephen kaya tinry niya ring buksan yung iba pang kwarto, pero sarado na din.
He didn't knock because he already knew what they did. They planned it. Kaya walang magawa si Dale at pinasok sa kwarto nila ni Harvey na mukhang natulog sa ibang kwarto.
