That damned phone call.

But it couldn't be true, right....?

Cherry noona would never do anything like that.

.....Right?

But it was Hoseok who called.....he never lies, and even if he does, it's extremely easy to tell that he is. 

But then why the hell was she trying to reach out to me?

I suddenly remembered the first time I saw her in the campus.

"If I told you to run, would you run?"

What was that supposed to mean?

It didn't possibly mean that she would convince me to join her....?

But why would she tell me to join her?

Was she planning to drag me into the whole mess?

If she was actually planning to make me her companion on her meth quest, it would obviously be important in her eyes.

But then again, she could've talked to me last night itself if the situation was of such magnitude.

So that meant she may or may not have done whatever Hoseok hyung claimed she did.

Perhaps I should check with someone....?

I grabbed my phone from the study table and pressed the lock-unlock button.

Taehyung's laughing face greeted me and I smiled sadly while caressing the picture with my thumb.

I unlocked my phone and called Namjoon hyung, one of my extremely close and trusted friends, also one of my dad's right hand men.

As for what she has done, I'm assuming 
you're still in denial over the whole ordeal 
aren't you? Otherwise you wouldn't
be calling me.

Um..I just wanted to confirm, I just hope it isn't true. 

It is. She apparently disappeared only
to return for your dad's money.
She fooled him and spent all
the money in helping her drug empire thrive. Now  your dad is trying to
keep the whole matter under the
carpet to avoid a financial crisis.
He has already failed in doing so
because he  is already getting
banned from several committees
where he once held a powerful
and reputable influence.
