That day arcee only 15 woke to sirens and she knew that meant the base was under attack she ran to find her family and ran into steel on her way to her mother station (causeway sang songs for motivation to autobot troops) "cee come on we need to hide!" Steeljaw said with a bit of fear in his voice he was hoping arcee wouldn't notice ironhide yelled "you 2 with your mother NOW!" Steeljaw grabbed arcee's servo and both of them found there mom with her station armed with her sniper rifle she had it since the start of the war she was a decent shot

Causeway ordered "yes mother" the 2 answered suddenly ironhide yelled "causeway hide the kids!" "You heard him" causeway said to them after one last hug they hid and the door gave way. The leader of the decepicons walked in "causeway" he hissed " Megatron" she replied "so where are the children" Megatron demanded " I'd rather die than betray my own children there's a bond that exists between mother and child ah, but then again what would you know." Causeway taunted "so be it they will join you in death" Megatron said as he drew his blade the 2 fought but soon Megatron pinned causeway down stuck his servo in her chest and...ripped out her spark causeway screamed from the pain she looked at the closet where steeljaw and arcee hid she gave a small smile and passed into the allspark. Megatron noticed and opened it. Steel began to suck the energy out of megs but was grabbed by the neck arcee shot him with her guns. Megatron said "cece be sure to tell optimus who did this arachnid was such a good informant and with that he took off with steeljaw in his grasp. Arcee ran to her mother's body but was to late soon a yell "causeway, ironhide,steeljaw,arceeon anybot!" It was optimus "father!" She yelled back she heard loud footsteps then her father. "Arc..." Optimus said knowing causeway's fate in his spark he knew she died he took his child and hugged her trying to Shield her optics from her her mother's body a scream arcee looked up chromia crying by ironhides body rachet had a hand on her shoulder elita soon came in gave a small gasp at her sisters body and said "where's steeljaw" arcee replied "Megatron he...he took him after he killed mother and said arachnid was a good informant" arcee lost composure and began to sob in her father's arms
