Chapter 17: the calm

Currently we're all gathered downstairs watching a movie together until we couldn't handle anymore romance, as we're all single here so no need for any tears today. Hailey didn't come as her parents are strict in sleeping outside her house so she will meet us there tomorrow.

"Okay guys enough with this shit." Nathalie was really angry about the movie I see.

"Like what the hell why did they even start dating in the first place." Alexis too.

"Okay you know what let's just turn off that shit that remind us of our single." Thanks Kylie, I forgot that I have that life too.

It's was weird for me at the beginning to realize that everything was over. No more chatting till 6 am. No more silly jokes in classes that made me laugh. No more morning chocolates. No more pe classes and playing together. No more dancing with each other. And mostly no more love between us.

I was so in my thoughts that I forgot that their we're tears streaming on my cheeks.

"Lana are you okay girl." Alexis asked, and suddenly everyone's eyes was on me.

"Yeah its just I was remembering some of our moments together and caught up with it."

"Do you wanna talk about it?" Nathalie didn't like it when I get pushed so she just asked nicely in order for to me not to get aggressive this night and pass the whole day with fucking peace.

"It's just that I don't know anything anymore, I am the one who wanted to break up with him and I did eventually. But now I don't know anymore, sometimes I miss our moments together and the way we talked to each other and the silly moments, I even miss our arguments together."

"So you still have feelings for him?" Kylie asked the only questioned that I had no answer for.

Do I really still have feelings for him? But how? And why? Like I was 100 percent sure that we're Over when we're dating, why now?

"Look lana maybe you just miss your memories with him as a person, but for real the person in your memories is not the person he is today." Anna said sadly. But it is true, Adam has changed, so much.

"Baby don't fall in love with your memories, and forget the person standing in front of you. After all both of them are not the same person." Nathalie said softly.

"Yeah guys you're probably right."

"Okay so it's nearly 4 am and we have to get up early to go to that weird thing tomorrow." Char said.

"And why is it weird char?" Nathalie asked.

"Like seriously we don't even know who is coming tomorrow expect for us and Hailey and Luke and Laila, and we all know that Laila won't come alone without her team who eventually I see that they don't love her. And don't tell me that she did all the "surprise birthday shit" for Louis with bestfriends intentions because we all know that there is something more than that."

"Calm down woman, but you're probably right." I laughed.

"Okay guys I call dibs on bed." And Anna started the war.

In a blink of an eye everyone went up stairs to try to catch a place. Meanwhile, Alexis and I stood still on the couch not able to move either of us.

"I guess we won't find a place upstairs then." Right Alexis.

"Yeah let's just stay here."

"Sure you're okay?"

"I got it Al don't worry about me."

Alexis and I been bestfriends for 13 years along with Nathalie, doing everything together since we were 7, and I'm really happy to have them by my side along with the other girls.

"Goodnight Al."

"Goodnight L, don't worry I will kick his ass tomorrow for you."

"Appreciate that."

As for Alexis she fell asleep in a second leaving me to dive into my own thoughts alone. I really hope tomorrow can pass with peace, that's all I want honestly.

For harry, there's no any sign of him, so I kinda got the memo of his cycle.

The morning came before we knew it, and I was woken up by thousands of screams.

"Sometimes I ask myself why am I bestfriends with two pandas like both of you." Of course it has to be Nathalie who is referring to me and Al.

"Pandas are great Nat." Alexis answered while sleeping.

"Guys come on we have to get ready to attend the most awkward birthday party." Anna said trying to make her self excited for today, but failed miserably.

" what time is it?" I asked nearly half asleep.

And I was answered with millions of shouts from the girls saying

" it's summer time." And so I answered them with throwing pillows.

"No really it's 2pm already." Kylie said.

" where is this place again." Alexis asked.

"I don't know she told told that we're going to meet in destiny avenue at 6." I said.

"You do know that destiny avenue contains hundreds of restaurant, where the fuck should we go." Nathalie complains.

" I don't know Nat that's what she told me." I answered almost not bothered about the whole situation.

"Yeah cause the girl who organized this shit is not well enough to organize her homework at least." And nat began.

" Look we'll just get their and call her to see where restaurant to go." I'm really mature these days.

"I'll sit wherever I want, don't need her." For God's sake Nat not now.

"Calm down woman it's his birthday in the end." I'm really over this shit.

"Let's go we have to get ready." Anna always knows how to wrap up the conversations, credits to her.

You know shower moments have a great precious place in my hearts, that's where I think of anything on earth.

And I came to a conclusion that a girl, no matter how many times she denies it, she will always remember every detail, memories & moments you'v left her.
