Days and hours has past without those constant notifications coming from the group chat. A group where the laughs and jokes, the crying and sadness are always present. It was as if we were there talking to one another. The sessions were Nathalie used to ask everyone what is bothering us, and only Alexis won't answer. To us screaming at Alexis for sleeping all day long and how we were so worried about her that I get to call her mom. To how we always encouraged Kylie to go to them gym even though she doesn't need to lose weight, but if that what she wants, we are going to support her anyway. To how we all begged for change. A change in our environment. Change in the way we live and letting our life goes on. Change in us.
FLASHBACK.
A usual Thursday night, we were all gathered up at Alexis's house with the four of us and the rest of the girls playing cards.
"Okay I got you another game, it's with the cards but it's kinda different than the others." Hannah stated.
"Go on." Alexis replied.
She began on putting the cards in a very weird order, putting all the queens on a side, and the kings on the other.
"Boys or girls?" She asked and we all stared at her.
"I don't understand a thing." Char called.
"If you want to ask about girls, you put four cards of the queen and then name them of one of your friends you want to ask. They say it can tell the future." And we all remained silent afterwards.
"How is that even possible?" Nathalie asked.
"You wanna try?" She asked back.
"Yea." Nathalie shrugged.
"Okay boys or girls?" Hannah asked again.
"Boys." Nathalie replied.
"Okay if you want to know if this is working, you may ask something about the past."
"Okay."
Hannah placed the four cards and let Nathalie name them all.
"Okay I wanna play with Louis, Luke, Liam......and maybe Reign." Nathalie said.
"Ohhhh, the childhood crush." We all teased.
"Shut up guys, let's see how this goes."
"Okay so remember exactly which cards are the names okay?" Hannah warned.
"Fine." Nathalie answered.
"Ask something." Hannah said.
"Which one of them is my bestfriend from first grade." Nathalie asked.
Hannah started to put each card from a pile on the four cards and then one of the cards matched the one that was supposed to be Louis.
"Got the game?" Hannah asked.
"Wow." We all went.
For over one hour we all tried the game asking all about the boys who we will end up with and for most of us, it got our hopes way too high.
"Okay I want to go a round." Char said and let Hannah do the cards.
"Boys or girls?" Hannah asked.
"Girls."
"Name them."
"Nathalie, Alexis, Kylie and Lana." Char said and the four of us looked weirdly at each other.
"Who hates me the most." Char asked the cards.
Alexis was going to interfere by that question, but Kylie shot her a look that says wait and let her finish.
