Chapter 42: bad idea

The tension was the only thing you could feel in the car. Alexis's mom was really not buying any shit that Alexis has told her, but we all know that she's going to lose if she knew that all of this is about a boy.

" Lana you're going to Nathalie's house?" Aunt Lisa asked.

"Yes." I replied. I had to go with Nathalie's as there was no other option. Alexis was going to be thrown out of the window today and it won't be nice for me to go to her house tonight.

We arrived sooner than I thought to Nathalie's house and it looks like that her mom is throwing a gathering for her friends in the house. Our faces were fully red with watery eyes, so our appearance isn't in its best shape.

We thanked aunt Lisa and Nat and I got out of the car. Nat was still not doing well so I had to stood her up and walk her. In the middle of our walk I noticed something slipping beside, I thought it was my bad, turns out it was Nat herself.

"Shit Nat come on, stay up please." She didn't faint, but she couldn't stay up or still either.

Alexis immediately got out of the car and went to Nathalie so we could help her up.

"Alexis be with her, I'm going to tell her mom!" I shouted and ran towards the door.

Nathalie's mom and dad are divorced, and Nat and her sister live with her mom. Her mom is the kind of woman who wants to live her life to the fullest, but she didn't know that her children are going to pay for that. Both her parents aren't on best terms. Her mom wants to prove that she could take care of her children really well, but it was obvious that it won't turn out well.

I knocked on the door many times in order for them to hear my knocking through the music.

" hey Lana." She said smiling.

"Hey, I'm sorry to ruin your gathering, but Nathalie is really tired outside. We need your help." Before she could react, she immediately screamed for her friends to help her outside.

"What did.." she didn't continue her sentence and ran to see Nat.

All of her friends went and stood Nat up and went her inside the house.

"Come on inside." Nat's sister told me.

I really didn't want to go, but I wanted to make sure Nat was alright and all.

Everyone was gathered around Nat trying to see if she can breathe properly or not and thank god she was alright.

"What happened?" Her mom asked.

I remain silent as I was looking at Nat, her mom sensed that I didn't want to talk in-front of Nathalie, so we went somewhere private.

"What happened lana?" She asked again.

"I don't know if I can say for her." I said referring to Nat.

"But I want to know what got her like that."

"It's all about Louis."

"Yeah louis and Nat like each other. Then?" Wait what?

"What? No it's not like that."
I thought there was no other option than to tell her mom everything that happened. She listened closely, trying to digest everything I'm saying.

"Okay so it's not something big, just between you girls."

"Yeah it's." I said and both went out to see Nat.

As we were talking, the other people has already put Nat upstairs in her room, so that's where I went directly.

I stood outside for a bit as there were a lot of people filling the small room, so there wasn't any place for me to stand.
