Chapter 23: same me, future me.

It's been 3 days since I've known the fact that Adam is coming, apparently it got something to do with his mother who didn't want to continue living in the other country so she made them come back. Today is the first day from Adam to return to our school again, and I still can't believe the fact that he's back.

"Okay so here it goes, lou you won't glance at him or anything just keep the hell moving in the front." Alexis warned me before I face him.

"Don't worry I'll be good." I replied.

"Sure you will." Nat stated. "I still can't believe the fact that he's here again like for God's sake who the hell leaves this fucking country and decides to come back." Nat always wanted to leave the country, hell we all want.

"Yeah I cant believe that also." I said.

As we were walking I caught Louis standing in the corner talking to someone, Adam. He's taller, more muscles, and new hair cut, god he did change. And credits for me for being me, Adam caught me staring. Sometimes I ask myself how I am such that idiot. We both kept on having an eye contact until we turned our heads the way around at the same time.

"He's not going to say hi to you? Who the hell told him that exes are supposed to be enemies?" Nat said a little bit loudly.

"It's Okay Nat really, I'm good with the way it is." I began to make my way into the hallways to attend my lesson and let the day move smoothly.

Thanks to god, Adam is in the other class and not with me it was going to make things more awkward.

And the day did pass smoothly without any interactions between us and I couldn't be more thankful. The girls and I were currently making our way out of the school, but for some reason we were all fed up with our studies and didn't even have the energy to talk to one another.

"Remind me why do I have to get my diploma again?" Alexis asked.

"So you can work maybe?" Anna replied.

"Kylie Jenner is working and didn't even need her diploma in anything." The girl went too far.

"And who the hell told you that you are her?" Nat said.

"Am excuse me here, I'm prettier than her."

"Well I honestly don't see Kylie that pretty I mean Kendall if more natural than her." I replied.

"It doesn't matter though, we just get our decking diplomas from the shitty school and we are outta here." Char stated.

"I'll see you guys later okay." We began to say our goodbyes and we went straight into our homes for sleep and nothing else.

"Mom I'm back, is food ready?" I screamed for them to hear me.

"Are you always talking about food?" She asked.

"Mom just tell me the food is ready."

"Yeah on the table."

I went straight into the diner table, I was really hungry not bothered to even say hi to my parents.

"How's school going on lana?" Mom asked. Like really Mom I'm so focused on my food here.

"It's good, everything is fine." I replied

"You know lou, if you are not targeting your future based on my country just tell me. It's not my company in the end it's yours, and your siblings." Mom is having her own company and she's determined to let me take it after her as my sister is not willing to take it after her, and my little brother is too small to even think about his future right now.

"Don't worry mom, you know my whole future is based on that company, I want that."

I finished my food in a blink of an eye, and went straight to my bedroom to take my nap time.

"For real Lana you either eating or sleeping." She Said with her high pitched voice.

"Well, I don't see any other more important things to do." I said.

"Great, Just great." And she stormed out of my bedroom. What is wrong with her, I am just minding my fucking business.

I began to sleep again after bella just ruined it for me, but I don't care honestly I'll still sleep not realizing that I'd wake up in a whole new year with fucked up situations.
