Chapter 18: before the storm

After two hours of achieving to make our selves look presentable for today, it's safe to say that we're ready to go.

"I'm going to hell with my own legs." Dramatic Nat.

"Come on Nat it won't be that bad." Who am I lying to.

"50 bucks on you if it went down." I guess I'll just go with the deal to let that day pass.

15 minutes later we were there, you can feel the tension around us in that moment. Some of us are afraid of what's going to happen, me obviously. Some of us are just not ready to face Laila and her group and really not up with their shit, as Nat. The others are just not into the fucking moment.

"Lou call Laila see where should we sit." Anna asked.

"Okay wait." I grabbed my phone to call Laila.

"Hey louu." Gosh why is she even squeaking.

"Hey, look we're there but where should we sit."

"Yeah look just go to apple bees and see if it's good there or not." Okay what?

"So you didn't reserve or anything?"like seriously what did she do with this birthday.

"No I didn't but just go their if it's not good then switch restaurants."

"Okay." I'm really trying not to explode right now.

"What did she say?" Anna asked.

"She said we go to apple bees if it's not good then we switch to another one." And as if I put a bomb to them.

"What!! So there is not even a reservation, like that the fuck did she do in this birthday shit?" Here we go Nat.

"Yeah like she said that everything is organized, I don't see a single thing that she does." Char argued.

"Okay guys lets just go there and see what will happen." Another thanks to Anna here.

We went to apple bees with blank faces, Guess the day will end before it starts for us.

We entered apple bees and found no places available. I'm really done with this shit.

"What now?" Kylie asked, and found no one to answer as we all had no idea what to do next.

"You know what, we'll go to another fucking restaurant and tell them to come there." Nat said.

"Yeah I guess, we don't have another option."
Hannah said softly.

We tried to find another place to go, but come on it's a Friday night what kind of people go out without a reservation, like seriously couldn't she just waste 5 minutes of her day to call a restaurant.

We went to five different restaurants until we found one.

"At fucking last, we're settled." Char half screamed.

I called Laila to tell her that we settled on,

"Laila we're settled in a restaurant called Jays."

"What? Why though?" Why is she even arguing with me.

"There's literally no other place available we are on a Friday night for God's sake." I told Laila a bit aggressively.

"Okay half an hour and we're coming." She said, it's literally 7:15 pm now we're supposed to be gathered at 6.

The call ended and for me I wasn't very satisfied with it. I began to feel tired and exhausted and not able to focus the whole night even if it didn't start yet.

To break the ice we began to talk all of us just so the time can pass easily, at the same time the whole group just came in.

"Look what the open doors dragged us." Nat smirked.

The doors opened showing Louis, Laila at the front and behind them was another two girls who I don't really know but still they are so nice to me but from the grade older than us, and at last the new couples entered. Adam and Kelly.

Let the night begin.
