Chapter 25: wishing it was the end

I began the new year with a big smile on my face ready to face whatever the hell that will happen this year.  Of course it has to be a school day today, what a really good start.

"Hey Lana, happy New Year." Caleb said with a very big smile across his face.

"Thanks Caleb, happy new year to you too." I smiled back.

Caleb is in our class and he's really friendly and all, so it's nice to have a good friend instead of them all being assholes.

"I'm 100 percent sure that Caleb has a crush on you, a big one." Anna began.

"What? And hows that? All he did was telling me happy new year." I replied back.

"Yeah I'm with you Anna by the way, it's obvious really." Nat began."dont you see the way he looks at you in class?"

"Guys come on, me and him barely talk about anything. And not I don't see him looking at me in classes."

"We do actually." Anna replied.

"As you wish little lou." Nat smirked.

"Fuck off, both of you." And we all laughed together.

"But lou, for real now if anything happens between you and him just take care. He literally told us all that he has a crush on us, but not at the same time."

"Nat there's nothing between us trust me." I smiled and continued to walk.

As we were all walking to our classes Aiden jumped in the middle.

"Hello girls." He said. Aiden is a really good looking guy, tall, good body, and tanned skin, but he's my cousin for All that matters.

"Hey Aiden." The girls said.

"Can I borrow lou from you for a second?" And I sensed a problem, we just started a fucking new year.

"Yeah sure, be quick we got classes." Nat told him, and Anna faced the floor.

Aiden and I began to walk to somewhere far from the others students as he told me that there is something he needs to talk about.

"Split it." I narrowed my eyes.

"Calm down woman, I just want to talk to you about something." And there was this big smile all over his face. I know that smile.

"There is this girl, that I really have a crush on." And?

"Okay so? You have a crush on every girl everyday." I was honest, Aiden wasn't the player type, but he really has a crush on every new girl everyday.

"This time it's different."

"How So?"

"She's in your group." Oh shit.

"Look Aiden, you like to play and shit like really the longest relationship you had was how much? Three weeks maybe. I don't want any of my girls to get hurt by my cousin."

"I'm not playing lou, it's for real!"

"And who is that lucky girl that made Aiden fall for her." I said sarcastically.

"Char." What the actual hell.

"What? You mean char char?" Why am I such an idiot.

"Yeah who you thought it could be?" He asked.

"I don't know but char wasn't on my first of the list."

"So are you going to help me?"

"Help you with what Aiden? Just because char is in our group doesn't mean she's close like I barely talk to her on the phone." It's right though. The closest of our group is me, Nat, Alexis, Kylie, and Anna when she got to school, sometimes Hailey but she's closer to Nat than all of us.

"Char is bestfriends with Hannah so maybe tell her." Hannah has always been there in our school, but in other classes then they switched her with us, and from that she became in our group.

"What? No I can't tell Hannah you've got to help me lou."

"I'll see what I can do." I paused for a second and then ask again. "Who other than me know about your little crush?"

"Louis knows, and it's not little cousin." He winked.

"Sure boy."

"Thanks cousin, owe you one." And he walked away.

"Yeah I guess you do." I said, but he was long gone.

I began to make my way to  classes but I wasn't bothered to enter so I went straight to the toilet. And for those of you who don't know, is that a girls toilet is not a toilet, it's a place for gossip, breakdowns, and fashion advices.

"I was so sure that I'd find someone here." I said as soon as I entered.

"Where were you? Why do you look like you've seen a ghost?" Kylie threw questions at me.

"I don't really in the mood for classes, and Aiden just threw random shit at me."

"Okay you know what the class is just so fucking boring, let's get down stairs to our secret place." In every school there must be a secret place, that's where everything happens. Who knew how much I will hate this place later.

"So what's up with Aiden."

"He just told me that he has a crush on one of the girls in our group, he wants me to help him." Kylie shoot me that look that says "oh shit." But she kept her mouth shut.

"Our group? Weird, I though he was going to date someone from his girls group."

"Yeah I thought so but you know them, they wouldn't date any of the those girls, "so afraid to lose them as friends." They should really man up."

"Yeah you're right they should, so who's that mysterious girl?"

"It's Char."

"What the fuck, char? How come?"

"Yeah I know she's not close to us and I can't even help him with that, and also I am afraid to him hurting her and really he........"

"Wait wait wait, lou that's not the fucking problem here." She cut me.

"Then What is it?"

She looked at the floor as if she was calculating the consequences of whether to tell me or not.

"Kylie just tell me."

"Okay I will but promise me you won't say shit."

"Pinky promise."

" Anna has a crush on Aiden, fuck that, she's in love with him."

A way to ruin the start of a fucking new year.
