The guests didn't know who the voice belonged to, but Lauren and Alex did.
"Who needs help and why?" Lauren asked.
"It was Gabbie," Alex said.
"She dropped a note," Thomas said. He grabbed it and read it out.
Dear guests,
I am so sorry to do this, but you must partake in a challenge. You must compete to release the killer from his cell, but if you are the one to do it, your friend will perish. I'm so sorry. Good luck - Gabbie Hanna.
"That sound fun," Willow said sarcastically.
"I don't wanna vote," Mark moaned.
"Looks like we have to," Lizzie said.
"To be honest, I feel like I know who I want to vote for. Do you guys want to break off or do you just want to vote?" Oli asked.
"Actually, just voting might be a good idea," Lauren said. The group agreed, and so they voted.
"The first name is... Lauren."
Lauren - Ok, I'm confused. I didn't think my name was on the table. I thought I'd flown under the radar.
"The second name is... Dan."
Dan - I am not ready for this.
"The votes have been cast, there is no way to change them. Come with us," Alex said. Dan and Lauren followed them out the room.
Phil looked paler than normal, and his eyes were filled with fear.
Phil - I'm scared. I don't want Dan to die. He's my best friend!
