Days had passed since Sapphire was born and Arie had mysteriously disappeared but Dru was feeling physically stronger... She decided it was time to spend time with Cal and Sapphire and also put Uncle Ethan out of his misery... Flashing to the bedroom she found both Cal and Sapphire asleep, it was a sight she knew she had to capture and keep, taking her phone from her pocket she snapped a few photos...placing her phone back in her pocket she carefully picked up Cal's from the bedside table and took a few more pictures.
She smiled before carefully sitting down, they'd both be awake soon, Sapphire would make sure of that one.... as if on cue Sapphire stretched her tiny body out in her crib and let out a little whimper followed by a loud hungry cry.... before Dru had a chance to move Cal was up and attending to his daughter... "Aww she's a daddy's girl already I see" Dru said softly behind Cal causing him to slowly spin round to face her, "You're ok, we've been so worried" he said as he pulled her into a tight one armed embrace,"Yup she's a daddy's girl, why wouldn't she be I'm awesome" Cal said smiling and Dru couldn't help but giggle, he HAD been Awesome and Amazing with EVERYTHING that had been thrown at them, from being brought back to life, to the stand off with Jay, Re finding Ethan, learning his powers and becoming a father.... Together they could do anything...Cal kissed both his girls on the forehead before grabbing Sapphires now ready bottle and a fresh nappy... "Right lil-un daddy is gonna feed you, and burp you, then we're going to find you something pretty to wear, and Uncle Nibbles is going to change that stinky stinky nappy of yours, oh yes he is, cuz it dinks" Sapphire was looking up at Cal with her big blueish eyes as he spoke to her, squirming as he tested her bottles temperature before giving it her to suckle on, turning to Dru he spoke softly, " I was thinking of letting Ethan watch Sapphire for few hours, he's been bugging me enough about it, if that's OK with you, besides I kinda need a new dance partner, one that won't bring their dinner back up on my shoulder" he chuckled slightly at his last comment, remembering the fact that Dru very nearly did throw up on him the first time he spun her round.. "What do you say... Can I have this dance?"
