Name: Ember

Pretty normal as SkyWing names go (and I'm pretty sure that's what Peril's brothers name was) but it's okay.

Age: 32 (at death)

An old one! Cool!

Gender: Female

Okay

Sexuality: Not really sure, she hasn't really thought about it.

Cool

Tribe: SkyWings

SkyWing OCs seem pretty rare, so cool!

Occupation: Prisoner

Oh

Personality: Insecure, prone to panic attacks, highly curious, quiet, shy, hesitant, surprisingly intelligent although she doesn't let it show, has a thousand thoughts whirling around in her brain all the time, loves to immerse herself in scrolls to take her away from her life and to give her a chance to be free for a few minutes

This goes well with her 'prisoner' status. The only thing that I think you could get rid of is the 'highly curious' part (unless you mean she's curious towards learning new info) since I feel like if you're prone to panic attacks you would not like to go explore (again, unless you mean about learning things).

Appearance: Ember is a tiny SkyWing with dull red-gold scales marked with countless scars and injuries, soft pale green eyes, and wings that look too large for her body

It's okay, but could add if she's tall/short, skinny, etc.

Backstory: From the moment Ember was born, she was considered weak. It wasn't her fault, really. It wasn't even because of her small stature- that would be noticed later. No, it was down to genetics deciding to be a piece of *bleep*. Because while her two sisters, Ginger and Bracken, acted perfectly normal after they had been hatched, Ember stayed huddled underneath the broken pieces of her egg, confused and terrified by all the strange noises and smells, and all the odd things that she had never seen before. As her mother watched her two normal kits, the small dragonet started shivering uncontrollably and wailing something about not feeling well. Hibiscus called for help, but the dragon that came said that he had never seen anything so strange. So her mother desperately named her sickly daughter Ember, like the embers of a dying flame. But soon after, she recovered, staring at the new faces and things that she had never seen before. The tom who had answered Hibiscus's cry suddenly turned on her poor daughter, and said that there was no use for a weak dragon, but that he would not kill her... yet. And before Hibiscus could react, he let out a snarl and lunged at Ember, clawing her on the cheek. She shrieked in pain, but no dragon came, and she blacked out.

Ember spent the next few years playing with her sisters and the other dragonets, Birch, Hazel, Gold, Tulip, and Cranberry. Well, I say playing- but what really happened was that she spent most of her time either sitting by herself watching the other dragonets play games or curling up in a ball as her peers called her names and rained blows on her with tiny claws that weren't fully developed, and yet still left marks, giving her an odd, fearsome look that didn't at all fit with her size or her quiet nature. It seemed like everyone hated her; but the truth was, some were forced to act like they did, forced to make her life a living hell. After all, as she had been told many times, Pyrrhia had no place for the weak. But then there was her mother. She seemed to be the only one who cared about her, and it got her killed. Queen Cardinal said it had been a scavenger- that the gentle dragon was too weak to handle its attack, and that she had died a coward, running from the tiny little creature.
Ember hadn't believed her, but there was nothing she could do. The Queen's Guard was all there, every single member- Flame, Rose, Jewel, Ant, and all the rest- and anyways, who would believe her, a weakling, practically a prisoner? But apparently her mouth was an idiot, and decided to let out a wail of grief and powerlessness that made her start to shake. She saw Queen Cardinal smile, and her heart began to float higher as she said "I will adopt Ember, as she has no mother." Maybe it was all just an act, and the Queen would love her like a daughter and stop the other dragons' bullying. But it instantly plummeted as her foster mother spoke her next words- a sharp order to the Guard. "Lock her up!" A few dragons gasped, but they were quickly- and painfully- made to stop. And the vast majority grinned and even laughed as they heard Ember's screeches of pain, and saw that she was able robbery dragged away by one cat without being bound by chains. But the small dragon wasn't laughing as she was tossed into a cell with bars of fire like she was as light as a feather. As she looked at her new home, she didn't even try to escape, and she tried go to sleep- after all, she thought, there was nothing she could do.

About 8 years into Ember's imprisonment, everything changed.  A dragon kept walking past- a guard. And this Guard slowly began to talk to Ember, probably more as a way to pass the time than anything, but Ember was madly in love. And when Strawberry found out, she stopped coming. Ember could barely find the strength to live anymore, and she spent the next few years there, until she was 31.

When Ember was 31, Queen Cardinal seemed to change her plan. Ember had worked out that her stepmother was hoping that she would challenge her for the throne; and subsequently fail. But, for all her faults, Ember was no idiot. And she also spent most of the time she was in the cage shivering in a corner, except for when she had talked to Strawberry. But the visitor to her cell was none other than Queen Cardinal herself, who made the flames surrounding her disappear. "Come" she said commandingly, gesturing at a narrow passageway with her tail. Ember thought that her foster mother had come to save her, but the place that the hallway opened into was the Arena. Ember had never been in the Arena before, but she had heard terrible stories about SeaWings kept away from water and friends forced to do battle. And as Queen Cardinal shoved her into the Arena, she stumbled into a large moon-pale dragon with ridged claws and a forked blue tongue. "Fight!" an announcer shouted, and she barely had enough time to be scared before the IceWing's freezing breath encased her, and his claws shattered her into nothingness.

Okay, this is long, so no problem with details, but it's kinda...confusing. Why did the dragon attack her as a newborn, why was she locked up? Just for being weak and emotional? It could make sense if it was explained why everything happened, but it never was.

Mother: Hibiscus- A red dragon with bright amber eyes (Dead)

Stepmother: Queen Cardinal- A bright red dragon with a splash of white scales and unnaturally long claws

Father: Sun- A large light orange dragon with brown flashes (half MudWing)

Sisters: Ginger- A brown-orange dragon and Bracken- A rose-gold dragon

Friend: Strawberry- A beautiful red dragon with a hint of gold (for a little bit)

Crush: Strawberry

I love all theses names, especially her sisters.

Abilities: None

Okay

Overall, I give Ember an 7/10. Add a little bit more on her appearance, and give motives for everything that happened in her backstory, and it should be good!
