Name: Coruscare (her name means "blaze" in latin)
Unique, but do dragons know Latin?
Age: 10 (30 in scavenger yrs. if I used your suggested chart right. I think it'd fit her better to be 32 in scavenger yrs., though.)
Cool
Sexuality: Straight
Nice
Tribe: Skywing
Okay
Appearance: Coruscare's main scales (middle if you look at Joy Ang's illustration) is a slightly pale, red orange color. Her back plates are a darker shade of her main color, however, it's slightly brighter and a little more red. The small scales that outline the bottom of her main scales are a slightly darker shade of her main scales. Her underscales are a very pale orange, which almost becomes white but not completely, enough you can still tell that it is not. Her horns, claws, and spine spikes are an incredibly dark brownish-orange color. Coruscare's wing membranes are a light orange as well, much like her underscales-- however, due to being a firescales, you can see the vein like patterns in her membranes that glow slightly in the dark, but not really. They make the middle of her membranes a dark, reddish-orange color, but they fade off into the light orange one. Her right ear is slightly cut in a triangle shape. Finally, her eyes are a bright sky-blue. Onto her build, Coruscare is elegantly sleek but smaller than the usual female skywing. She's noticeably not muscely or bulky like the average skywing build, but can probably pin you down if she let all her body weight onto you.
This is EXTREMELY detailed. Well done!
Personality: Upon first meeting Coruscare, she's quiet and sort of slow to start up a conversation. She's also rudely ignorant and wont really seem to care about your problems if you're not close to her, and she wont read your feelings very well either. She also gets nervous if you talk about heavy or serious topics (death, romantic feelings, ect.) However, after getting to know her she'll show her brighter side. She's quite a bubbily and talkative dragon, and she absolutely LOVES literature (you'll probably become fast friends if you like reading too). She's incredibly affectionate when alone with her husband, Starfinder, and you'll probably find them both curled up around each other relaxing in the sunlight if you're lucky enough.
This is really nice, too.
Occupation: She's a merchant with the help of her husband, Starfinder. She sells scrolls and writing items with him.
Aww cute.
Residence: She lives in a continent called Volasimul that isn't part of the Pyrrhian universe. Unlike Pyrrhia, in Volasimul all dragons are equal and live together. She rests and lives in a small cave she bought for her husband, but when she's working she's in the merchant isles inside the mountain palace behind her stand.
Nice.
Relatives: Feldspar is Corsucare's father. As a simple and incredibly brief description, he's a dark crimson skywing with blazing red-orange eyes and one large, silver hooped earring on his right ear. He previously sold scrolls and such with his family before Corsucare began to take up the business herself.
Coruscare's mother was an incredibly sleek, maroon skywing with shiny golden eyes. She is deceased and died due to a virus that had been going around in Volasimul.
Cove is Coruscare's step-mother, a seawing. She's noticeably a littly chubby and has rounded jaws. She has light blue scales and yellow eyes as well.
Waterlily is Coruscare's step-sister, who's a skywing-seawing hybrid. Waterlily is a light red, 7 yr. old(dragon years) dragonet with a short, small build and bright amber eyes. She has crimson freckles on her snout and has many similarities to a normal skywing, but she has the thick tail of a seawing as well as the webbed feet, along with gills. She can't breathe fire. She also wears three rings embedded with swirly textures on her left hand, and a silver arm band with a chunk of cut lapis in it.
Coruscare's husband is Starfinder, a dark blue nightwing with blue eyes and a broad, large and muscular build. The tips of his finders on his right hand are slightly burnt due (but healed). He wears an animus-touched golden arm band on his left arm that allows the user to touch incredibly hot material, hence why he and Coruscare can cuddle together.
I love these names!!
Backstory: When Coruscare's egg was laid, her mother died due to an unidentified virus that had been going around in Volasimul. Feldpsar kept her egg tucked away with him in his home for a long time to make sure he didn't catch the virus and die as well, because he didn't want Coruscare to grow up without a daughter. After a while, Coruscare eventually hatched. Because she was firescales, she couldn't really rough-house with all the other dragonets that inhabited the mountain palace, and most of the time asked her father to read her stories from scrolls when he wasn't working. She often wished for siblings to hang out with so she wasn't stuck alone most of the time. She was taught how to write by using a rock slab for little education, and she learned how to avoid other dragons easily in the busy rows of the merchant isles so they wouldn't get burns (even though the dragons already knew to avoid her). After a while, Feldspar met Cove and they bore an egg. Coruscare wasn't very happy to hear her father got a new wife, but Cove was incredibly kind and funny and Coruscare learned to like her a lot. Besides from that, Coruscare was completely overjoyed to learn she'd have a new sibling! She wouldn't have to be alone all the time anymore, and she'd be a big sister most of all. When Waterlily's egg hatched, Coruscare quickly bonded with her sister even though she couldn't touch her. When Waterlily grew old enough to walk and speak, she'd often poke Coruscare with a rock in the early mornings so they could go swimming in a nearby lake from Volasimul's mountain palace. When Coruscare became five years old, she was sent to Equality Academy. She tried to make friends at first but a lot of the dragonets were afraid of getting burnt by her, which lead to Coruscare often being kept to herself and quiet. Besides from that, she was a great student (even though her homework would be returned burnt a lot of the times) and she absolutely adored the academy library, and she'd spend most of her time there. One day she asked one of the nightwings her in sleeping cave to help her carry her homework to her classes, due to not being able to do it herself. This nightwing was Starfinder, a dragonet that wasn't doing well in most of his classes and was bitter towards Coruscare at first. However, over time, they began to bond, and he began to slowly grow a love for books and star constellations thanks to Coruscare sharing random facts about them. They also began to grow feelings for each other, but these feelings were mostly subtle (except for Coruscare's, for she got incredibly nervous and bubbily whenever she was around or near Starfinder). However, when Coruscare took her second year at Equality Academy, she learned Starfinder had been pulled out early to be trained for war by his mother. She was heartbroken, and was alone for the rest of her second year afterwards. When she was done with school, she returned home and caught up with her family. She learned that Waterlily had gotten a job in jewerly and moved out, and her father retired in his scroll-selling business. Coruscare was eager to take on his work and with his help she began to do so. After a few years, one day Coruscare reunited with Starfinder, along with a wonderful surprise-- he had retired from being a soldier to be with her, and had used all his earnings over the years to get an animus-enchanted arm band so they could embrace! She was overjoyed by this, and they soon got married. They now currently live happily and sell scrolls together in Volasimul.
This is very nice. Simple, and cute.
Abilities: Coruscare has the normal skywing abilities, but she has firescales.
Cool
Other:
* Even though Coruscare and Starfinder probably could've bred and bore dragonets, Coruscare wasn't interested. Starfinder was disappointed at first but quickly got over it and accepted his wife's choice.
* Waterlily fell into a deep depression and became angsty when Coruscare left for school for a long time.
* Starfinder had introduced Coruscare to his group of friends in Equality Academy, but when he left the group and Coruscare drifted away from each other.
* Coruscare woke up Starfinder one night in the academy and they snuck out to take a romantic fly together.
* Starfinder liked to sleep near Coruscare when they became close in their academy years. He thought the warmth from her firescales were more comforting than frightening.
* Volasimul is the combined latin words if "volant" and "simul". Volant means fly, and simul means together.
Interesting facts on the name.
Overall, I give Coruscare a 10/10! I can't find anything for you to improve. : )
