AN: I am aware that some chapters go from being written in present tense to being written in past tense. This entire book needs to be edited so I apologize if you get annoyed because of the way the book is written.
I promise to start editing the book as soon as I'm finished with my other books' rough drafts.

I'm busy raiding the fridge for a quick snack, when a soft voice catches my attention.
"Hey Blake, could you stay with Ronnie tonight?" Cole asks and I look over at him. His eyes are filled with a mixture of sadness and fear, making my heart shatter into a million pieces.
"I know Matt's there too, but I still don't trust it." He lowers his head, his voice just above a whisper.
Quickly, I shut the fridge and rush over to him. I pick him up and sit on one of the island chairs, placing him on my lap. Cupping his cheeks with both my hands, I lift his head, and when I see the fear and sadness in his eyes, it feels like my whole world comes crushing down around me. No kid should look that scared or hurt!
"Nothing, and I mean absolutely nothing, will happen to your sister. I promise you, buddy!" I promise, making sure he knows just how much I mean what I'm saying. The fear and sadness is quickly replaced by relief and instead of saying anything, he throws his arms around me, hugging me tightly while burying his face in my chest.
Sighing, I wrap my arms around his tiny body, resting my chin on the top of his head.
Veronica, Andrea and Cole arrived about twenty minutes ago. While Cole ran out the back with Emily, Veronica, Andrea and I sat in the living room while waiting for Matt, River and Zayn.
When Veronica left earlier with Andrea and Cole, mom sat me down and suggested me staying over at Veronica's place tonight. Thankfully it was after River left.
To say I was shocked by her suggestion would be an understatement. I knew mom liked her, I just didn't know how much she liked her. Or how much she trusted us.
Of course I know nothing will happen, I mean, it's Veronica we're talking about here, but mom didn't know that and she knows about my history with girls. Thinking about it now, I don't think it's me she trusts, but more so Veronica.
Not gonna lie, kinda hurt, but I guess I brought it upon myself.
After the conversation with mom, i decided to go visit dad seeing as there was still a lot of time before we had to leave.
Visiting dad always hurt. It hurt like hell seeing him just laying there and not knowing when or if he would wake up again. He looked so peaceful that I felt selfish for wanting him to wake up and come home.
I just miss him so fucking much, it physically hurts! I spent about three hours with him before going home again to pack for this unexpected sleepover.
I had my duffle bag packed and in my car and as soon as the guys came, we all left to the tracks. Instead of driving with me, Zayn decided to jump in Veronica's car, shocking the both of us.
I didn't like it. Not one bit!
Arriving at the tracks, Veronica pulls up beside Mason, me beside her, River pulling up beside Jake and Matt ends up between Jake and Jason.
The races were as successful as every other night. Well mine was, and looks like Veronica and Mason's were too. Mason had three races and ended up making five grand! While Veronica had only two races and ended up making three grand.
When I heard that Mason and Veronica makes more than one grand per race, I was fucking shocked! I mean, when I leave the tracks after all my races, I leave with no more that three grand, and that's only on a busy night. Apparently, they never leave with less than two grand.
