Turns out, there's no studying when it comes to this group.

Andrea and River have been annoying me for the past three and a half hours. Either they're making out or she's giggling like a little school girl, which she obviously is, but dammit!

Zayn and Matt found interest in everything but studying. Their conversations drifted from soccer to parties and somehow ended on girls.

Veronica on the other hand was actually working. She sits in a pair of black puma leggings and a gray hoodie that's way too big for her. Her long black fluffy socks pulled up to her mid calve and her hair loose.

She looks cute. Not like I'd ever admit that to her though.

Veronica is smart. I noticed that during our study session, her only problem is she doubts herself, and she's too stubborn to ask for help. I'd catch her scowling at her papers in front of her and offer to help, but even then she looks hesitant.

Looking at her answer sheet, all her answers were right. There were one or two that I needed to explain, but other than that, she was mostly right.

I start loosing focus because of my hunger, so when Cole comes running down, I mentally pray it's to eat.

"Captain says you guys need to come up! Dinner is ready."

At the mention of food, everyone drops what they were doing and head for the stairs. Veronica scoops Cole into her arms, grinning as he squirms in her arms when she tickles him.

Eventually we all reach the kitchen and the smell of food makes my stomach go insane. It smells delicious!

"Where do you guys want to eat?" Mason asks as he dishes food for himself.

"Anywhere." Veronica shrugs, handing us all a plate.

"Well, the dinning table is too small to fit us all, the air conditioning isn't working in the entertainment area and mom is going to kill us if she finds out we ate in the living room." Mason looks up at his sister with a raised brow.

Veronica, once again, shrugs, taking Cole's plate from him. "Well, I'm sure as hell not telling her." She looks up at her brother with a questioning brow. "Are you?"

After handing Cole his plate, Veronica steps back so everyone else can dish before she starts dishing for herself. Once everyone's got a plate of food in their hands, we all go into the living room. Cole and Veronica taking the floor.

What is up with this girl and sitting on the floor?

Zayn and River were more than happy to talk to Mason, not realizing he's just a person. I mean, yeah, he's a freaking legend, but he's still just a guy.

Mason and Kate are funny. The two have that kind of love that just by looking at them you can tell that they love each other. Kate treats Veronica and Cole like her own siblings. She even treats Matt like a little brother.

The food is fucking amazing! I can see why they were so persistent. Mason has a fucking talent in the kitchen!

"When's your first game?" Mason asks and Veronica's body tenses. Slowly, she raises her head from her food and looks over at her brother with a guilty expression. "What?" He asks, his eyes narrowed.

"It was last week." She smiles sheepishly. This liar! Mason glares at Veronica who burst out laughing. "I'm kidding, geez!" She grins and Mason rolls his eyes. "It's next month the 24th." She shrugs and Mason frowns.

"I have a game that day."

Veronica looks up at her brother with a little frown. "Don't worry, you can catch the next game." Mason smiles encouragingly and she sighs.
