"Did anyone contact Dumbledore?" Lyra demanded, looking around at their pitiful group.

No one could contact the rest of the Order members, they were all on missions too far for a patronus to follow. Lyra could only hope that Dumbledore was wise enough to stick close for them to contact him.

"I did," Moody growled. "He hasn't sent a patronus back yet."

Lyra glanced at Sirius, both of their expressions pale.

"Then we'll have to go without him," Sirius said.

Both of Moody's eyes swiveled over to Sirius. "What's this 'we', I hear, Black? Dumbledore had made it quite clear that you have to stick in this house."

Sirius looked as though he had been slapped in the face. "I'm sure if he's seen the circumstances-"

"That he would agree with me," Moody interupted. "You're staying here, Sirius. We're more then capable of handling a few Death Eaters."

"Mad-Eye," Lyra said, her voice holding a wanring. "I think it would be best if Sirius was with us, it might calm Harry down."

"We're not taking him, Lyra," Moody said. "Either you are coming or you're not, either way we'll be fine."

Moody gestured for everyone to follow him out the door and everyone did without hesitation.

Both Sirius and Lyra stood their, both faces were flushed with anger. Suddenly, Sirius kicked a chair so hard that it flew across the room, one of the legs dangling uselessly.

"I can't even help my godson!" Sirius shouted, at Lyra or at himself she didn't know. "And Peter is probably out their killing Harry and his friends and I can't do naything about it! I'm trapped her like an animal!"

"Sirius, you aren't an animal," Lyra said, her voice strangely calm in a situation like this. Sirius looked at his sister, her face was pale and her grey eyes were gleaming. "You have thumbs."

Sirius blinked at his sister, not understanding at first but then his memory came blasting at him at top speed. He looked into his sisters eyes and he couldn't almost hear her scream echoing around the house, just waiting to be hear.

"If you don't like being caged, Sirius, use your thumbs and set yourself free; you're not an animal."

Lyra knew that Sirius was remembering the same thing, and she knew that he would follow her to the battle. No one could stop him. Becuase no matter what anyone said, Sirius was not an animal.
