Everyone returned for Dominique's funeral. It was crazy seeing how the family grew, but it was nice to see the kids again along with the brothers. When Cayson arrived, I hugged him, and he cried. Dominique was the one person who helped shaped Cayson into the man he is now.

Nate comforted his baby brother since Lucille wasn't here to do it. Then Jonas arrived with Karen and comforted Cayson. It was good to see the brothers together.

As the kids arrived, so did the triplets, Carson, Cody, and Caleb, along with Jace and Jaime and their wives. Then the boys came with their wives and kids.

"Damn, Nash, you got old," Jace said, hugging Nash.

"You're right behind me, buddy," Nash told Jace, chuckling.

"I see you're crazier than ever," Jaime said to Nixon.

"Someone has to shake things up in this family, considering you will go to hell as a lawyer and all," Nixon retorted as they laughed.

"Did you ever find your ark, Noah?" Cody asked.

"Yeah, and you're not on it, thank god," Noah answered.

"Well, Nathaniel, Jr., you're still old," Carson commented.

"So are you, and I can still beat your ass," Nathan replied with a look. They laughed as they hugged.

"So, Magazine, is everyone still getting a turn?" Caleb asked Maggie.

"How is your nose? Do you need another nose job?" Maggie asked with a look as Caleb smirked.

"Well, it seems you're all idiots, but old now," Nolan told the others as we watched the kids.

"And we can still beat your ass," Nixon mentioned.

I smiled as the kids all talked and laughed, catching up. It's been a while since everyone was in the same room. It sucks that it's for a funeral.

Cayson, Jonas, and Nate talked about the arrangements. The minute Nate mentioned Cayson staying with us, that caught the triplet's attention.

"Wait, hold up. Dad is staying with one of us," Carson mentioned to Nate and his brothers.

"Yeah, we lost Ma, and we don't want to lose Dad either," Cody said.

"I'm not living with one of you three. Are you insane?" Cayson asked his sons.

"But you're our dad," Caleb said.

"And I'm still your dad, but I raised you, and you're crazy. Your ma and I talked about what we would do if something happened to one of us. We decided not to live with either of you," Cayson told the triplets.

"Damn, that's harsh," Nixon mentioned as we looked at him.

"I love you, boys, but I can't live with you," Cayson told his sons.

I watched the triplet's expression change. Cayson got up and walked towards his boys.

"You have your lives now. I want to stay close to Nate because, like you, he's my brother," Cayson explained.

"It makes sense," Noah mentioned as we looked at him.

"What does bud?" Nate asked.

"As a brother, you have a powerful bond with each other. That's why we all live close to each other, as do the others. No one knows what it's like to have that brother bond except a brother. I can't imagine not having my brothers around me," Noah explained.

"Yeah, it's like a part is missing when one leaves," Nathan added.

"Our brothers are the ones that know all our secrets," Nolan said.
