Do you know how, when you're sleeping, you have this fantastic dream, then some dipshits think it's cute to wake you up? Yeah, that would be my brothers, who thought it was lovely to throw ice water on me.

I felt something wet and cold hit me, making me jump up in bed.

"Oops, maybe we should have thought this through," Parker laughed, holding a bucket.

Payton and Patton stood on each side of Parker as I got out of bed and chased them, drenched. They ran down the stairs, and I took a shortcut, jumping the railing and landing on the tools.

"Ugh," Payton grunted.

"Thanks for breaking my fall, you dicks," I said, smacking each one in the head.

Parker threw me off him. "What have you been eating?" He asked, stretching.

"Food," I replied, standing up. I might be small, but I'm compact. Pat and I are the shortest ones in our family besides Ma.

Parker and I wrestled as Pat got into the mix, and Payton answered the door. Shaun came inside as Parker flipped me.

"Who's winning?" Shaun asked.

"No one," Payton answered as Parker jumped on me, then Pat jumped on Parker.

I saw Shaun and kneed Parker in the junk as I got up.

"You're so going to pay for that, you little shit," Parker gasped, grabbing his junk.

"It's disturbing how violent you all are," Shaun mentioned.

"It's effective," I said, shrugging. I grabbed Shaun's hand and dragged him upstairs.

"It's good to see Pax happy again," Pat mentioned.

"Little brother, it's always good to see Pax happy," Payton replied.

"I'm getting ice for my boys," Parker whispered, ambling to the kitchen. Payton and Patton laughed.

Once we hit my room, I closed the door and jumped on Shaun, crashing my lips into his lips. Shaun held me as he kissed me back. We broke from our kiss, and Shaun let me down.

I walked over and changed my tee-shirt and found a dry spot on my bed, freaking Parker.

"Why do you have ice in your bed?" Shaun asked, pointing to the ice cubes.

"My dipshit brothers thought it was cute to dump ice water on me," I replied.

Shaun chuckled.

I laid back, propping myself up on my arms.

"So, I thought in the spirit of Halloween; we could hit a haunted house, then watch scary movies," Shaun suggested.

I looked at Shaun with hesitation.

"Come on, Pax. This Halloween is the first one I can enjoy with someone I love," Shaun said as I looked at him. Shaun gave me the puppy dog look, making me cave.

"Fine, but a haunted house, then movies," I groaned.

Shaun grinned as I rolled my eyes. I hated Halloween, and my family knew why I hated it.

Later on, we went to a haunted house. I looked at the house and furrowed my brows. I felt arms wrap behind me, making me relax.

"You two are the most sickening people I met," Kaxon mentioned.

"Way to ruin a moment, cuz," Markus mentioned.

Kaxon shrugged as I shook my head.

"Ignore them, and now we're here together," Shaun whispered.
