The new guy is weird

I went to get a breakfast sandwich and a latte at the bakery. I walked into the place and over to the counter as I saw the guy who winked at me working. Great, that is my luck.

"Yo, can I help you?" The guy asked.

I looked at the guy's name tag. "Sam?" I said.

"The last time I checked," Sam said.

"Aren't you the guy that winked at me at the bookstore?" I questioned.

"Are you seeing things?" Sam asked me, arching an eyebrow.

I distorted my face, looking at Sam.

"Why do you look like you had a bad chicken?" Sam asked me.

"I'm trying to figure you out," I replied.

"I thought I smelled something burning," Sam remarked.

I narrowed my eyes and pursed my lips. Sam took his finger and poked me in the forehead.

"Didn't anyone tell you that you can get wrinkles that way?" Sam asked me.

I slapped his hand away from my face.

"Didn't anyone tell you that I will beat your ass?" I replied.

"Feisty. I like it," Sam flirted.

I stepped back from the counter. I'm not sure if coming here to get breakfast was a good thing. This dude is weird.

I stood there as Sam made things, then wrapped something in the paper, and placed the counter items.

"Your latte and breakfast sandwich," Sam said.

Wait. What?

"How did you?" I asked, confused.

"Know? A good worker learns their customers," Sam said, then kissed the air at me.

I tossed my money on the counter, grabbed my stuff, and got the hell out of there. I bumped into Kaxon, who was with Mason.

"Why do you look like you caught Pax and Shaun doing unholy things to each other?" Kaxon asked me.

"The new guy Sam in there is weird. He got my order for me and kissed the air at me," I said incredulously.

Kaxon and Mason looked at each other strangely.

"I didn't give the guy my order," I added.

They did a double-take. I shook my head in disbelief as I went home. I didn't need this shit. I got back, and Parker opened his mouth. I shot him a glare and went up to my bedroom.

Sam

I smirked as two guys entered the bakery.

"Are you Sam?" A guy asked me.

"Yeah, who are you?" I questioned.

"Kaxon," the guy said.

"Yeah, I don't care," I replied.

Kaxon looked at me strangely.

"Are you always this rude to customers?" Another guy asked.

"Are you always oblivious?" I questioned.

The guy looked at me with confusion.

"Did you want to order or stand there, holding your dicks?" I questioned.

Their eyes widened as I looked at the guys with boredom. The two guys turned and left the bakery. I rolled my eyes.

The bell chimed as a girl walked into the bakery. She walked up to the counter. "What are you doing?" The girl asked me.
