Sam

I walked into the bakery for my shift to see Paxton standing behind the counter. He looked up from the register at me, shit. The bell chimed on the door. I turned to see Patton enter, double shit.

Both looked at me as I stood there. Paxton glared at me, and Patton smiled. Okay, I need to get out of here with little hassle, which is easier said than done with customers in the bakery.

I started making my way to a different exit when Paxton stepped in front of me. "Going somewhere?" He asked.

"Yeah, and you're in my way," I replied.

"My boys and I have an issue we need to correct," Paxton threatened.

"Well, I'm sure your boys understand that you don't threaten someone," I reasoned.

I faced off with Paxton as I felt someone behind me. I glanced to see Patton looking at me and smiling. Patton leaned in and whispered, "So, about that, kiss?"

Now here is where the situation spirals out of control. Imagine someone, that's me, trying to avoid others, that's Paxton and Patton. One wants to hurt me while the other wants to kiss me. I will let you figure out which one wants to do what.

"Hey, isn't that Britt who worked here?" I asked.

"Where?" Paxton and Patton asked as I maneuvered away from them.

The twins realized I duped them and went after me.

"You go left, and I'll go right," Paxton told Pat, who nodded.

The twins chased me, and I moved around the tables as customers watched. Shaun, Nik, and Frazier came out to see the commotion in the bakery.

"Why are Pax and his brother chasing Sam?" Nik asked.

"Beats me," Shaun answered.

"Popcorn, anyone?" Frazier asked, holding out a bag of popcorn. Shaun and Nik shrugged as they grabbed a handful.

"Come here, you little rat. I will rip off your legs and beat you with them," Paxton growled.

"Now, that's not nice," I said, crawling under the table. "Didn't your parents teach you manners?"

"No, my parents taught me to beat someone's ass," Paxton answered.

I crawled out on the other side and looked at Paxton and Patton.

"Well, that's a damn shame. Here, have some dessert. You're not you when your sugar is low," I said, picking up a piece of pie from a customer and throwing it at Paxton, except I missed.

My eyes widened as Paxton looked at Patton and laughed. Patton has pie on his face.

"That reminds me of the great pie prank in high school," Frazier said, smiling. Shaun and Nik looked at Frazier strangely.

Patton wiped off his face. The people sitting at the table got up and moved out of the way.

"Since we're playing with our food, our parents taught us to share," Patton said, picking up a piece of cake and throwing it at me. I ducked, and it went flying, hitting someone else.

"What the hell?" We heard someone exclaimed. I turned to see Kaxon with a cake on him. He removed the cake as Mason chuckled.

I looked at Patton. "Didn't anyone tell you that you throw like a girl?" I asked.

That earned a glare as the twins grabbed donuts and whipped them at me. Did you ever get hit with a jelly donut? Those hurt like a bitch. I grabbed cookies and chucked them like Chinese stars, smacking the twins in the face along with their dipshit cousins.
