Pat
After the situation with Presley and Eliza, our grandpa and uncles told us to stay out of Presley's relationship. In their words, "They're too old for this shit." Pops never gets involved with our love lives, only us when we screw up.
Since its autumn in Michigan, we have a trip to the apple orchard, which has a fall festival. What is with our state having carnivals in the fall? I prefer amusement parks when it's warm.
The group of us went to an Apple orchard and got out of the cars. That's when everyone split off from each other. We usually meet up after climbing trees, even though there are signs everywhere that say no climbing the trees. We never listen.
Britt and I went into the building and looked around at the items for sale. Let's see; you have apple pie, apple cider, cookies, donuts, apples, apple butter, and more apples. I picked up apples, looked at them, then set them back in their bins.
"What is your brother doing?" Britt asked.
I turned to see Pax plastered against the glass of the area the people are making donuts.
"Pax loves donuts. Pops had to peel him off of the glass," I answered, making Britt laughed.
I shook my head as I looked around inside the building. Kaxon found me near the cider.
"Dude, the place has a corn maze," Kaxon mentioned.
"You hate corn mazes," I reminded Kaxon, raising an eyebrow.
"It's different now that I have a girl. If I get lost, we can make out," Kaxon said, grinning.
"You have no shame," I replied.
"No shame," Kaxon agree, moving his hand in front of him.
"Who's all going to the maze?" I questioned, picking up a jar of apple butter.
"Mason, Skylar, Pax, Shaun, and Jesse," Kaxon answered.
I put the jar back on the shelf. "You remember that Pax hates mazes," I mentioned.
"We all hate corn mazes because our parents use to take us to a spot and leave us there to find our way out. So not cool to do to four-year-olds," Kaxon said.
"I thought Nixon would hurt your dad for that stunt," I chuckled.
"Well, Grandpa did and then bought me donuts, hopping me up on sugar," Kaxon grinned.
"Donuts, which you can't eat because it makes your blood sugar loopy," I reminded Kaxon.
"I can have donuts, just not a lot," Kaxon told me, shrugging.
"Between you and Pax, you make mealtime so much fun," I mentioned.
Kaxon rolled his eyes while shaking his head. Paxton has a gluten allergy, and Kaxon is a diabetic. We don't make a big deal about it since our parents taught them how to handle their situations. Mason is a picky eater, and I prefer not to eat junk. Birthdays and holidays are fun at our houses.
Kaxon looked at his watch. "Before we do anything, I need to test my blood and eat before my old man has my balls in a vice grip," Kaxon said, leaving the building.
Pax walked over to me after Shaun pulled him off the glass. "Where's Kaxon going?" Pax asked.
"Test his blood and eat," I answered. "I see Shaun peeled you off of the glass."
"Yeah, which sucks because I want donuts," Pax said.
"I'm sure the place has gluten-free since most places offer it because of people having an allergy or Celiac's disease," I reasoned.
