I knocked on a door, and Jaime looked up from his desk. My brothers and I walked into the office and sat down in chairs. Jaime leaned back in his chair.

"Why do I have a feeling this isn't a social visit?" Jaime asked.

"Because it's not," Nix said.

Jaime looked at us.

"You can't call Shaun to corroborate the tape," I said.

"Why not? He was part of the situation," Jaime said.

"Because Shaun was in rehab," Nix mentioned.

"What?" Jaime said, looking at us.

"Look," Nolan said, handing Jaime a disc.

Jaime put the disc into his laptop and played it, which showed dates and times. It also showed Shaun's greatest hits.

"So, as you can see, there's no way Shaun could have known about the situation. He wasn't there," Nathan said.

Jaime gave us a look as I looked at him with my steel-grey eyes.

"You don't want your case to fall apart, do you?" Noah asked.

That earned an annoyed look from Jaime.

"Jaime, the boys agreed to corroborate Parker's story as long as it keeps Shaun out of it. Don't be an ass and ruin someone's life who doesn't deserve it," Nix remarked.

"Look, we want to nail this family, but sometimes a person needs a break, and Shaun is family," I said, pulling the family card.

"You guys suck," Jaime mumbled.

"Nope, that's our wives territory," Nolan mentioned.

Jaime sighed. "Fine, you win. I will remove Shaun from the list before I present it to the judge. Dean and I were trying to get the Andrews family to agree with a plea deal and the other family. If that happens, then the evidence stored and never to see the light of day," Jaime said.

I looked at my brothers, who looked at me. We got up and left Jaime's office, walking down the hallway. As we walked, I stopped. My brothers looked at me.

"Nash?" Nik said as I fell to the ground. I held my arm as I had a hard time catching my breath. "Call 911!" Nixon told my brothers.

"Nix," I said as I fell to the floor, collapsing.

Maggie

I ran into the hospital and asked for Nash. A nurse-led Lex and me to the back where Nash and his brothers were. I ran over to Nash as I hugged him. He hugged me back.

"What happened?" I asked.

"The doctor thinks I had a mild heart attack," Nash said as I looked at Nash. I felt so much emotion when he said that. "Mags, they ran some tests to see if I did," Nash assured me.

I looked at Nash with worry as I held his hand, then heard yelling.

"Oh, hell, no! That's our dad!" Larkin yelled.

"Let us through before you meet lefty!" Lakin yelled.

"You heard my sister!" Luna yelled.

We turned to see the girls enter the emergency room and run to us. They engulfed Nash as Nash wrapped his arms around the girls, and Lex joined them.

The girls and Lex pulled back.

"Don't scare us like that, old man," Lyric told Nash.

Nash looked at the kids and shook his head as the doctor walked over to us.
