Sam and Britt helped me back to my dorm room. I sat on my bed, wondering what I did wrong in my life?

"Nora, it will be okay," Britt assured me.

I looked at Britt. "Will it? Do you know why Dad dislocated my shoulder? He wanted me to tell him where you are, and I refused. While you and Sam left to escape Dad, I got stuck with him," I told Britt and Sam.

My brother and sister looked at me with concern. Honesty sucks because the minute you tell the truth, people resent you. When you protect people, you suffer the consequences. I reached into my pocket and looked at my phone. I had a message waiting for me.

I opened it up, and it was from Skylar.

Are you okay? Dad told me what happened. Please let me know. Btw Grandpa knocked out your dad, lol.

That made me smile. I sent a text back.

I'm in pain, but okay. Your uncles are sweet, and tell your grandpa, thank you. You're a good friend, Skylar.

All I wanted to do is sleep and forget about what happened. I laid down, and the tears fell as Britt laid with me. Sam stayed with us.

I checked my phone and found a message waiting for me. I opened it to see it was from Nora and read it. I closed out my message and got ready to finish working on a car when my phone rang. I answered it.

Hey, we got a problem.

"What's the problem?" I asked Markus.

Markus told me what went down at school between Nora and her dad. I hung up the phone.

"Hey, Beau!" I yelled.

"Yeah?" Beau asked.

"I need to take care of a personal matter. I promise to come back and finish the car," I said.

Beau looked at me and nodded. I got into my car, pulled out of the parking lot. I pulled up to a house and got out of the car, walking to the front door. After knocking, a guy answered with a busted nose.

"Are you Nora and Britt Tilson's old man?" I questioned.

"Yeah, who are you?" The guy answered.

That's all I needed confirmation as I grabbed him and dragged him out of the house, then beat the hell out of the guy. After I finished, I looked at the guy.

"You ever lay another a hand on either of those girls, I'll kill you. Stay the hell away from Nora," I demanded as the guy laid on the ground, groaning.

I watched the guy get to his feet. "Thanks for the threat. I will use that when I press charges," the guy said as cops pulled up.

"Yeah, I will make sure they know what you and your family did to my family," I warned as the police arrested me and read my rights to me. They led me to the back of the squad car and put me into the back seat.

I sat there as they closed the door as the guy smirked. After the police took me to the police station, they booked me and put me into a jail cell. I sat there and waited for my parents to show up. I didn't care what happened to me. I didn't want Nora to suffer at the hands of that man.

Michael called me and explained what happened. I told Dad, Ma, Mags, and Uncle Cayson about it. Then I made a call. I'm sick of that family and their beef with us. Mike's kid is taking it too far.

I left the house and picked up Nix, then paid a visit to Mike Tilson's kid. Plus, we had to pick up Matthew's car. We pulled into the driveway and got out of the vehicle.
