One Day
Walking through the school hallway, Mo Guan Shan ignored everyone that he walked past as he made his way towards the school exit. He knew He Tian would be waiting for him at the main gate so they could go back together and cook. Maybe this time I'll show him how to make something basic that even he can understand, like a sandwich.
Suddenly, he felt someone grip his arm. Turning to look, Guan Shan came face to face with one of She Li's lackeys. He smiled like they were old pals. I suppose we were, once.
"Hey Mo Guan Shan, it's been a while. How are you?" He asked, still holding the redhead's arm.
Guan Shan nodded at him, "Yo. Haven't spoken in a long time. What's up?"
He rubbed his neck. "So apparently She Li wants to speak to you. Not sure why, though. He asked me to come and find you."
Guan Shan frowned. "She Li? The fuck does that prick want? I'm not interested." The redhead tried pulling his arm away only to find the other only tightened his hold. "The fuck? Let go of me."
He gave Guan Shan a desperate look. "Mo Guan Shan, please. You know what he's like; if I don't take you back to him he's gonna be real mad at me. You know what he's like."
Guan Shan subconsciously reached up and touched his pierced ear. For a few seconds he was silent as students filtered around the pair, then he nodded. "Yeah, I know. Fine - I'll go but I'm not staying; I've got things to do."
Looking like a weight had lifted off his shoulders, She Li's lackey grinned. "Great! Thanks, Mo Guan Shan. You're a lifesaver." The boys turned around and walked back into the main part of the school. They stopped outside a classroom and he turned around and gave Guan Shan a troubled look. "Listen, I don't know what She Li wants to talk to you about but he seems to be in a pretty bad mood so just be careful okay?"
Guan Shan sighed and nodded his head before he opened the classroom door and stepped inside. The other didn't follow him in so the redhead shut the door behind him. Inside, the lights were off and the only small amounts of sunlight filtered in through the closed curtains. Desks and chairs had been stacked at the back of the classroom when the students had cleaned. Only a few desks and chairs remained scattered around where She Li and the rest of his groups were leaning and sitting on them.
Guan Shan's eyes found She Li sitting with his legs up on a desk in the middle of the room. "I'm here. What do you want? Make it quick - I've got plans." Guan Shan stated bluntly.
The truth was his heart was racing. He hated being near this guy. He was dangerous and unpredictable and had caused Guan Shan nothing but pain and trouble for most of the time they had known each other.
She Li studied him for a few seconds before curling a finger at the redhead. "Come here." Guan Shan eyebrows twitched into a troubled frown before he walked forward and stood next to the desk. She Li smiled. "So you do remember how to do as you're told. Good boy."
"Fuck you." Guan Shan retorted. "What the hell do you want, She Li?"
"I want you to stop hanging around with that prick He Tian." He examined his nails casually like he had asked for the time.
Guan Shan's eyes widened in shock. "What?"
She Li looked into the redhead's eyes. "You heard me, Mo Guan Shan. I won't say it again."
