One Day

Arriving at school barely on time, Mo Guan Shan slid into his chair. As he was about to pull his books - that he never used - out of his bag, he noticed an envelope on his desk. Picking it up, it had his name scrawled on it in cute pink ink. Turning it over, the envelop was shut with a red heart sticker.

Guan Shan frowned in confusion. "The fuck?" Just as he was about to open it, the teacher walked into the classroom. Guan Shan threw the letter into his bag. Guess I'll have to see what this shit is after class.

-------

He Tian made his way out of his classroom, a gaggle of girls following him like always. They called to him and asked him personal questions that he answered random things too, barely paying attention to them but still giving them his best smile. His attention was on a certain redhead who had managed to slip past He Tian this morning.

Before he got to Guan Shan's classroom, he turned to the girls and told them he would see them later and they dispersed as they waved goodbye to him. He Tian turned around and was about to walk into the classroom when he saw Guan Shan staring at a letter in his hands. He Tian grabbed a boy that was walking out.

"Hey, what's that Guan Shan's got?"

The boy looked back at the redhead then shrugged at He Tian. "Don't know, man. But he's been staring at it for a few minutes. Think it's from a girl." The boy laughed but stopped short when he saw the dark look that formed on He Tian's face. "G-gotta go, man." He stuttered before stumbling away. He Tian waited as Guan Shan opened the letter and read it, his cheeks slightly turning pink.

He Tian walked into the classroom before he sat down on Guan Shan's desk. "Hey Don't Close Mountain! I missed you this morning." He grinned.

Startled, Guan Shan quickly shoved the letter into his bag, his cheeks now a dark shade of red. "The fuck? Don't sneak up on me like that, chicken dick."

He Tian wanted to read the letter. Badly. He had to know what it said to make Guan Shan blush like that. Only he was allowed to make Guan Shan blush. "Because you skipped out on me this morning, make it up to me and go get me a drink."

"Hell no-" Before he could finish, He Tian grabbed his shirt and pulled until their faces were inches apart.

"I wasn't asking." He Tian let him go and pulled out some money, slamming it on his desk.

Guan Shan grabbed the money and stood quickly. "Alright asshole, who's got you in such a foul mood?" He called as he walked out the classroom.

I guess we're about to find out. He Tian eyed Guan Shan's bag before he reached in and grabbed the now scrunched up letter. Smoothing it out, He Tian felt a tick form in his eye as he realised he was jealous over a fucking letter. Clearing his throat, He Tian took a deep breath in as he tried to calm himself. Guan Shan wasn't his. Yet. Opening the letter, he read.

Dear Mo Guan Shan,

You probably don't know who I am but I've had the biggest crush on you since I first met you. I want to confess properly in person so will you meet me up on the roof after school?

P.S. I think you're really cute and I like your hair.

"Bitch." He Tian muttered under his breath.

-------

Walking onto the roof, He Tian wasn't sure what he expected but it wasn't one of the girls that followed him around school. He had forgotten her name. She seemed surprised to see him. "He Tian?" She called.

He Tian gave her a cautious smile. "So it was you?"

She seemed to know what he was talking about; she blushed profusely and stared at the ground. "Ever since you started hanging around with him I thought he was cute, but one day I was having trouble with some bullies and he helped me. I've liked him more and more ever since."

"You can't have him." Without her realising, He Tian had gotten closer to her; so close that they stood inches apart.

"What?" She looked up at him in shock.

"He doesn't like girls like you. In fact, you're the total opposite of what he likes. He likes them tall, dark and hand- beautiful." He smirked at her.

For a second, she looked sad before a determined look crossed her face. "I won't give up. I'll tell him how I-" Before she could finish, He Tian slammed his fist against the brick wall next to him, causing her to flinch.

"He's mine and if you tell anyone or go near him again, those bullies won't be your only problem." He threatened.

Her eyes widened in shock. "You're gay?" She breathed before she shook her head violently. "I-I promise." She slid past him slowly before making a run for it.

After a few minutes, the door to the roof opened again and He Tian turned around to see Guan Shan step out. After spotting He Tian, Guan Shan frowned and closed the door behind him.

"He Tian? What are you doing out here?"

He Tian smiled seductively at Guan Shan before he slowly made his way over to the redhead. "What do you mean, Don't Close Mountain? I'm here to confess my feelings."

Guan Shan's eyes widened in surprise and he backed up until he hit the door. "This isn't funny, dipshit. Did you read the letter?" He reached for the handle, fumbling for it.

"Read it?" He Tian reached out and put his hand on the door next to Guan Shan's head. "Baby, I wrote it."

Guan Shan's face all but burst into flames with how red he went. He stared for a second before shoving He Tian. "Real funny, asshole."

He Tian felt his heart drop in his chest as he put on a fake smile and laughed. He threw his arm around Guan Shan's shoulder as the redhead opened the door. "Come on, Redhead. I'll buy you some lunch."
