One Day

"Shit! I forgot my lunch! I'll be right back Brother Mo."

Mo Guan Shan's friend waved his hand as he ran back towards the school building. Guan Shan watched before he turned back to the sandwich in his hand. He was sitting behind the school on the small stairway, mostly hiding from a certain black haired demon but also because it was quiet and he didn't have to listen to the constant chatter of everyone around him. Only few ventured back here.

As Guan Shan was chewing on his sandwich, he heard distance voices getting closer. Figuring it was a couple of boys coming to have a smoke, he ignored them until a certain name popped up in their conversation.

"... He Tian was a bad student. Did you see the bad grades he got on the last test? He must have been cheating for all the other tests. I bet he's actually really stupid."

The person he was talking to laughed. "Probably. Have you seen how all the girls practically worship him? He's not even that good looking anyway."

The first boy piqued up again. "My thoughts exactly. Maybe we should tell the girls that he's actually gay. He clings to that delinquent redhead all the time. He's a bad egg."

Guan Shan's annoyance grew with each word they said. Hearing enough, he stood and turned around, his eyes furiously searching. Spotting the two boys smoking in the corner of the building, he marched over to them.

Once the boys noticed Guan Shan moving towards them with alarming speed and a deadly look on his face, they dropped their cigarettes and their faces went white. They backed up only to realise they had nowhere to go. They had backed themselves into a corner.

When Guan Shan reached them, he grabbed the sides of their heads and bashed them together, receiving a howl of pain and shock from both of them, before he grabbed the front of their shirts and pulled them close. With a surprisingly calm but deadly voice, Guan Shan spoke to them.

"People who spread rumours have shrinking dicks. If you have something to say about He Tian say it to his face you cowards. He is not gay and he doesn't cling to me. If you even utter the word 'gay' to any of the girls, I'll beat you both so bad you won't be about to say a word ever again. Do you understand me?"

The boys nodded shakily and Guan Shan let them go. One fell to the ground and covered his crotch. It was then, Guan Shan noticed the boy had urinated himself. He got up hesitantly with the help of the other boy and they ran into the nearest building. Guan Shan watched them go and spotted his friend and He Tian exit the building past them. They watched the boys run inside before turning their eyes to Guan Shan who was breathing heavily due to his anger and adrenaline.

They walked over to Guan Shan with curiosity written on their faces. He Tian swung his arm across Guan Shan's shoulder. "Bullying kids enough to make them piss themselves now, are we? What am I going to do with you, Don't Close Mountain."

Guan Shan shook his arm off. "If you don't know the full story, mind your own business."

He Tian glanced back at the building the boys had run into and stared at Guan Shan. "What did they do? You're not one to do something for no reason."

Guan Shan sat in his previous position on the stairs and pulled his sandwich back out of his bag. "Don't worry about it you nosy bastard now let me eat my lunch in peace and quiet. I'm in a bad mood, don't make it worse."

He Tian sat next to him and nuzzled his head against the other. "Aww, let Brother Tian make you feel better." He cooed.

"Fuck off." Guan Shan glared before turning to his friend. "Why did you bring this bastard?"

His friend gave him a helpless look as he shrugged his shoulders. "He asked where you were then followed me here."

Guan Shan shoved He Tian's face away. "Go study you bad student otherwise people will talk shit about you. Don't lose face in front of your fan club." Distaste was evident in Guan Shan's voice as he spoke.

He Tian stared for a moment before he glanced at the door once again. He smiled and ruffled Guan Shan's hair. "Thank you."

Guan Shan didn't say anything, realising he'd said too much already. He knew that He Tian knew what had happened with the other boys but he would never admit to sticking up for him.

Ever.
