"He's no good for your human, you know? That black haired kid."

She Li whispered into Cun Tou's ear as they stood nearby watching Mo Guan Shan interact with another boy, He Tian - She Li had come to know both their names. He Tian gave an evil smirk before throwing his around around the other's shoulder and dragging him away.

"You say that, but I'm not so sure. He has a light aura around him. He's a good kid at heart, he just needs a little encouragement. He'll receive his own Guardian Angel soon enough." Cun Tou followed them at a distance.

"Really? What a shame." She Li looked away in disappointment. "I was hoping the brat would be of some use to me, but never mind." Cun Tou turned and glared at She Li but was ignored. "Say, sweetness, let me take you somewhere tonight."

"You've been bothering me about going somewhere with you for over a month now. I don't know how many more times I can say that I'm not leaving him."

"Your princess of a human will be perfectly fine for a few hours without you. What will he do, choke on his tongue in his sleep? You may as well come, you know I won't give up asking. I'm pretty fucking stubborn."

"How do I get rid of you again?" Cun Tou muttered under his breath as he ruffled his feathers in annoyance.

"You can't. Not until your human dies, which could be in 80 years or 8 minutes." Cun Tou turned to glare at him again and She Li shrugged. "That black haired kid sure is dragging him sort of rough, could snap his neck. Let's hope not because he'll end up in heaven and I'll lose my most prized possession."

Cun Tou rolled his eyes, ignoring the comment. "Speaking of which, you haven't tried to manipulate Mo Guan Shan's actions in over a week now. Not that I want you to but I'm curious as to why."

"I told you before I'm bored of him for now. I want you." A small blush tinted Cun Tou's cheeks pink against his pale skin. She Li took this opportunity to lean in close and he whispered, "I want you to give me your full, undivided attention and let me have you all to myself for the night."

His wing expanded, forcing She Li to move backwards. "Will you stop bothering me if I come?" His face was entirely red now. It was happening more often and She Li had noticed he found it adorable, finding that he wanted to see that blush more and more.

"Only for a short while." He curled the side of his mouth up.

Cun Tou sighed heavily before rolling his eyes, a small smile on his face. "Only for an hour."

"Two." She Li countered.

Cun Tou shook his head in defeat. "Fine. Two hours and no more than that."

The Angel and the demon found themselves on top of a cliff that overlooked the entire city. Lights shined brightly and the stars twinkled in the sky. Cun Tou looked on in amazement. The mountain side was dark as humans hardly every came up here but Cun Tou's aura glowed dimly - not that either of them needed it as they could both see well in the dark.

She Li knew that he could glow brighter than that but wondered if he didn't due to the fact that Cun Tou knew it would hurt his eyes. He appreciated it. He stared at the wonder on Cun Tou's face and the pair sat on the edge of the cliff, their feet hanging out the edge.

"Never seen the city lights before?" She Li asked.

Cun Tou shook his head. "I was always busy watching over my humans'. All of them were never ones that liked to travel far - none of the humans that were around during the invention of electricity anyway."

She Li pulled a bottle of whiskey out of his pocket and offered it to Cun Tou with a smile. Cun Tou stared at the bottle before raising an eyebrow and giving She Li a sceptical look. "Wow, even after being together for 3 months, you still don't trust me, huh? It's not poisoned, you know." She Li opened the bottle and took a sip.

"You really have the guts to say that? You do remember what your end goal is, don't you?" Cun Tou closed his eyes and frowned.

She Li found himself staring at the Angel once more before his eyes dropped to his lips. He took another swig and placed the bottle aside. He reached out and turned Cun Tou's face towards him before kissing him. The whiskey that was in his mouth trickled into Cun Tou's and they sat there for a moment, looking at each other.

"See?" She Li pulled away and stared out into the night. "Told you it wasn't poisoned."

Cun Tou's next words came out as a whisper but She Li heard them clear as day. "You know I can never trust you, right?"

She Li sighed heavily before reaching around again and grabbing Cun Tou's face. This time he kissed him forcefully, throwing all his passion and want into the kiss. He pulled away and stood up. "You should probably go check on your human. I've got to return to Hell."

Cun Tou stood with him and grabbed his arm. "But we've only just got here."

She Li held Cun Tou's face in his hands and pulled him inches away from his own but made no further moves. He realised they were both holding their breaths. "When you need me, call my name and I'll be there." With that, he disappeared and Cun Tou watched as the smoke he left behind disappeared with the wind.

She Li had not returned to Cun Tou's side in almost a week and the Angel found himself missing the demon wanting his attention. Guan Shan had gone to bed in the same house as He Tian and two blonde boys and was fast asleep, leaving Cun Tou to his demon-filled thoughts.

He wondered why She Li had kissed him. He also wondered why he had let him. He had to keep reminding himself that She Li wanted his soul and that seduction was probably part of his plan, but when Cun Tou thought about their kiss and the look She Li gave him, he couldn't help but want to believe that the demon was changing his ways.

He wondered about the possibilities of him not saying that She Li couldn't be trusted and what would have happened on that cliff. Would She Li have stayed with him? Kissed him some more? Something more, maybe? Cun Tou shivered as he realised two words slipped out of his mouth.

"She Li."

He dimmed his glow as the room grew colder. She Li appeared from out of the darkness and stood in front of him. "I told you I would come if you called me. Miss me?" He smiled seductively.

Cun Tou sighed and realised a huge weight was lifted off his chest. He reached forward and pulled She Li into a kiss. She Li reacted immediately and wrapped his arms around Cun Tou, stroking the feathers of his wings.

Cun Tou pulled away, breathing heavily, and whispered, "If I said you could take my soul when Guan Shan dies, would you keep it with you always?"

She Li stared at him with wide eyes before he relaxed and rubbed the side of the Angel's face. "I won't take your soul."

"What?" Cun Tou breathed. "But I thought-"

"I thought about it in the time we were separated and I just can't bring myself to do it. Will I be punished for this, maybe even killed? Most likely. Do I care as long as you're safe? No."

"Stay with me, always. I can protect you. I can even help you. God forgives all."

She Li breathed out a laugh as he rubbed his thumb over the Angel's lips. "I don't think He can forgive me. You don't know how many Angel souls I've taken in all my time doing this. It's unforgivable, and the worst part is I don't regret it. I only regret making you my target."

Cun Tou stared for a moment before nodding. "Okay. So stay with me then. I'll keep you protected from those in Hell and Heaven. You're not allowed to leave my side, She Li. Promise me."

She Li smiled gently before kissing Cun Tou on the forehead. "Okay, you stubborn Angel. I promise."
