Because You're Mine (COMPLETED)

Chapter Seven: Scott

My head hurts. I can barely keep my eyes open. I can barely comprehend anything, and my dad is sitting in the passenger seat fuming mad.

Next thing I know there is a sharp pain in my stomach. He punched me.

"What did you tell that nurse?!" He said, then hit me again.

The alpha in me was trying so hard to make an appearance and change my eyes to challenge my father. But I didn't let him. I can't because one of these days its gonna get me killed.

"WHAT. DID YOU TELL. THAT FUCKING. NURSE?!" He roared.

I started shaking. It taking everything in me to keep myself from lashing out because if I challenge my father in dead. I'm not strong enough to take him down.

"I told her that I had a glass in my hand and that I accidentally dropped it and it shattered and then I slipped on the stairs, fell in it, and knocked myself out. Whether she believed me or not I don't know."

"You better hope and pray that she did!" He punches me one more time and I pass out.

"Ugh. What the-?" I wake up and I'm outside on the ground. There is blood where my head was. I touch my face and my fingers come away red.

Well.

I go into the house only to find dad passed out on the couch again. I see my opportunity. I go to my room and grab my bag. I put some clothes in it. I grab my stash of money I has saved, which was about 500$, grabbed my phone, my hoodie, and I walked out the door. Leaving my dad alone. Like mother like son I guess.

I haven't stopped in 3 hours. I see the McDonald's down the street and decide to head there. I'm exhausted. I didn't sleep at the hospital after I woke up and I haven't eaten anything in like three days. Im surprised I'm even walking.

Once I walk into the McDonald's in hit with the smell of chicken nuggets.

I walk up to the counter and order a nugget meal and wait for my order. As I turn around I run into a small blond girl and as soon as she looks up at me her eyes turn blue. Naturally mine turn red and she backs up whimpering and looking like shes scared of me.

"A-are you okay? Im sorry. Did i hurt you? I didn't mean to" I say quickly. She lets go of my arm and runs to a small brunette boy across the room. He starts glaring at me. My eyes turn red again and his turn blue.

A male omega? I've never met one before. There supposedly a myth. I guess not.

I walk over to their table to apologize, but the boy stands up and stops me

"What did you do?" He asks, his voice higher than I expected.

"I accidentally bumped into her. I'm so sorry" I say to the girl. "I wasn't watching where I was going. I didn't mean to scare you."

The boy sits back down and whispers in her ear. After a few seconds she looks up at me.

"I-its ok-okay" she says. Shes very small now that I look at her. Everything about her is small from her face to her frame. Shes just small but she looks like she's 20 or so.

I also noticed that she got beat up. I look at the boy.

"Did you do this?" I say gesturing to her face. I growled at him and my eyes went back to red.

"What? No! I could never-"

"It wasn't him. It was my old alpha
He..." She started crying.

"Its okay kirstie." The boy said.

These two are close, I can tell. The girl, kirstie, bunches up the boys shirt in her hands and holds on as if she would fall apart if she didn't. My heart breaks for her. I don't know what's happened to her but clearly its bad.

"You can sit with us if you want." The boy said just as they called my name for my food. I nod and get my food.

I sit down across from the boy who's arm is wrapped protectively around Kirstie.

"I'm Mitch by the way." The boy said extending his hand to me.

I shook it. "Scott" I say.

"Well Scott.  Do you happen to know a place where we could stay and maybe shower. I haven't showered in three days."

"No but I've got about 500$ I can get us a motel for a couple nights. Only if you two are okay with that."

"Yeah okay. I've got about 100$ I was gonna get Kirst some clothes cause she has nothing."

"Okay then let's do that next."

Hmmm. Maybe us three can be friends. But for now kirstie is my main worry.
