Chapter 73

"Oh dear." Kevin said.

Mitch wasn't sure if he was okay. His entire midsection hurt on and off.

He screamed again, feeling someone touch him. "Mitch. Do you know what happening?" Kevin asked him. All Mitch could do was cry at the moment.

"Mitch, I need you to breathe. Do you know what's happening?" Kevin asked again.

Mitch nodded as the pain left. "I k-now." He tried to sit up. "We need to leave. Ahh!" He curls into himself.

"Alright. How far apart?" Kevin asked as he picked up the boy.

"Not long." He strains.

"Alright. Your gonna be okay." He looked at Kirstie. "Can you walk?" She nods. "Okay. I want you to run and find Scott and Avi. They are looking for you two as well." She nods and books it.

"S-Sc-Scotts here?" Mitch whimpers.

"Yes buddy. He is." Kevin quickly made his way out of the basement and outside where Kirstie is in Avi's arms.

Scott bolts when he sees Kevin with Mitch and practically rips Mitch out of the Beta's arms.

"He's in labor." Kevin informed. Avi immediately getting in the car and starting it. Scott kinda just stood there looking dazed.  "Scott! Contractions are less than five minutes apart. We need to get him to the house. I already have everything set up."

Scott nodded and got into the back with Mitch.

Mitch screamed again and curled into himself. There was so much pain. That was all he was aware of. He felt dizzy and wrong. "Something's not right." He strained.

"Hold on baby. Just a few more minutes." Scott told him. Mitch was shaking. "Avi..." Scott groaned. He hated seeing Mitch like this.

"Almost there. Hang on Mitch." Avi said.

Once they arrived at the house they got Mitch ready.

Scott got him undressed and situated and stood by his side. He screamed again. "Scott!" He yelled.

"I'm right here." He said.

Kevin appeared with gloved hands. "Mitch are you ready?"

"W-wait, for what?" He said.

"I thought you were doing a c-section." Scott said, puzzled.

Mitch cried out. "There's no time. The window for numbing him passed while we were in the car. I'm sorry mitch, but you have to push this baby out." Kevin explained to Mitch, who vigorously shook his head.

"No. No, I can't." He sobbed.

"Mitch I'm sorry but you don't have a choice. I need you too push." Kevin told him.

Mitch cried as he pushed. Pushing made it worse. Much worse. Something wasn't right, but he couldn't convey that right now.

"You're doing great baby. Just a couple more." He heard scott whisper in his ears.

Mitch sobbed. as he screamed. He was out of breathe, he was tired, he was hot, he was in pain. So much pain and he wanted it to be gone. He pushed again. "Ahhhh!!" He screamed, crushing Scott's hand.

"One more. I need one more from you." Kevin said. Mitch shook his head as he sobbed. "Yes Mitch, you can do it."

"I can't." The omega whimpered.

He felt Scott kiss his head and whisper. "Just one more. For your baby. You can do this. I know it hurts, but you can handle it. Just one more, baby." He squeezed Mitch's hand.

Mitch cried as he tried to breathe. He was starting to get dizzy. "Mitch, push!" Kevin yelled and Mitch did.

He felt instant relief. There wasn't nearly as much pain as there was before. He took a deep breaths and looked at Scott. "You did it." Scott said through his tears.

Mitch cried. He saw Kevin cleaning and wrapping up his child. He did it. He actually did it. Kevin smiled as he handed the baby to Scott. "Shes a bit small, but I'm gonna watch her and make sure she's okay."

"She?" Mitch asked.

Scott looked at him and nodded. He handed his daughter to Mitch who cried all over again. He tried to lift up his arms but he was numb, he couldn't move anything.

Suddenly, he couldn't breathe. His chest was tight and his face got hot.

Then, he felt nothing at all.

"Shit!" Kevin yelled. He called for Avi as he uncovered Mitch's torso. The alpha entered almost instantly.

"Take Scott and the baby out of here. Now!" He said, grabbing the defibrillator.
