Chapter 162

Scott got dressed and walked out of the room, leaving Mitch there on the bed. He was just a little bit irritated, but he felt great.

He went to Avi's room and knocked on the door.

"Yeah?" He head Avi call out.

"I'm headed out, are you ready?" Scott asked.

He did hear a response so he opened the door and saw Kirstie and Avi going at it.

He rolled his eyes. "You know my fitting is in like half an hour and that we need to leave right?" He said to Avi

Kirstie just looked at Scott. The fact that he was so nonchalant right now. She wanted to duck under the covers and die.

Avi grabbed a pillow and chucked it at the blond. "I'm literally in the middle of something. You can wait. Oh, and your little monster is with Kevin." He said.

Scott nodded and walked out the door, chucking as he did. He walked back over to his and opened the door just enough to see Mitch still laying there, naked and passed out.

Scott looked at him fondly before walking back in the room and closing the door.

He went into their bathroom and got a wet washcloth and gently began cleaning his mate off, mentally kicking himself for not doing it earlier.

He grabbed a pair of sweats for Mitch and put them on him and got him under the blanket and tucked him in.

Mitch didn't even stir. Poor baby was so stressed, and Scott knew he wasn't sleeping very well because of it.

He smiled lovingly and leaned down to kiss Mitch's head. He loved that Mitch shaved his head. It was just as perfect as the rest of him. He loved it.

He kissed Mitch one more time before walking out and met Avi in the hallway.

"That was fast." Scott joked.

"Might I mention the twenty minutes before you walked in.

"Oh." Scott said.

"Yeah." Avi chuckled. "Ready?"

"Been waiting on you." Scott said. "I have to grab Addalin, though."

"She's coming?"

"Yeah, Mitch needs a break. He's currently passed out."

Avi whined. "Keep her away from me, please. I'm at my wits end with her."

"I'm the one getting fitted. You're gonna have to hold her and watch her."

Avi groaned. "This is probably the worst day you could've picked for this appointment."

"Its not like I told Addalin to act like the spawn of satan. She's two. Shes entering that stage of not giving a fuck." He laughed as he knocked on Kevin's door.

Kevin opened it with a grumpy look.

"Your child is being mean to my child."

Scott looked at Addalin, who had run up and was standing beside Kevin, and then looked at Zac who didn't look happy.

"Yeah, I'm sorry. She's having a day."

"A day? She's been like this all week. Take her to the park or something at let her run around. Clearly, she needs it."

Scott nodded. "We'll do that after. But uh, we need to go." He held his hand out for Addalin and she took it with a squeal.

"Oh, so she listens to you. Okay." Kevin said.

"Shes a daddy's girl. What can I say?"

Kevin rolled his eyes and shut the door in Scott's face.

Scott looked down at his daughter, her bright blue eyes staring at him. "You're irritating people, I hope you know that."

She giggled and shook her head, her little pigtails wagging

"Yes, child, you are."

They walked out to the car and Scott put her in her car seat. Avi tossed him the keys and they got in and drove.
