Chapter 145: Part 1

Its Addalins birthday!!!

Im so terribly inconsistent with my story and by now she should technically be over a year old now, but its whatever.

Its not like any of you care lol.

Anyway, onto the story.

Addalin woke up before anyone. She rubbed her eyes and stood up to lean against the rail of her crib and let out a shout, hoping to wake up at least one of her parents. She saw Scott move, but he didn't wake up. She shouted again, and heard Mitch speak.

"Scott, wake up." He mumbled, nudging his fiance.

"Mm mm."

"Scott, I'm serious. You know what today is."

"I do?"

Mitch sat up and smacked his shoulder.

"Ow!" Scott hissed. "Alright alright, Jesus. Yeah, I know what day it is. Christmas, right?" He smiled, which got him smacked again. "Okay, sorry!" He tried to pull mitch close. "How could I forget our baby girls birthday?"

Mitch just rolled his eyes. He's been planning this for the last week, practically by himself, so he was already irritated at that, and scotts little joke didn't help.

He glared and threw the covers off, making them land on Scott's face, and got up to get dressed. He picked up Addalin and went downstairs and set her on the couch, next to Zac and Rose.

Addalin couldn't understand why they kept trying to put her next to him. They knew she didn't like him, so why?

Rose was fine. She didn't irritate Addalin the way Zac did. Whenever she was around him, she got this weird feeling. Like she was drawn to him. It freaked her out, so she didn't want to be around him.

Zac felt the same way. Maybe not the "lets yell at her everytime we see her" but it was there.

He jumped when she yelled at him. He didn't like it, so he yelled back.

Addalin wasn't expecting him to yell back. He never has before. Maybe he was finally fed up with her?

Was suprised her even more is when he put his little arms around her and hugged her. He just stayed there.

Why was he touching her? She didn't find herself hating it, which freaked her out even more. But again, why was he touching her?

Scott walked downstairs and saw this. He smiled and quietly called for Mitch.

Mitch rolled his eyes and literally dropped what he was doing and came over to Scott. He was about to complain when Scott told him to be quiet, and pointed to the living room.

Mitch had to do a double take, unsure of what he was seeing, which was Zac hugging Addalin and her not yelling at him. She was just looking around frantically, like she didn't know what to do.

"That's adorable." Mitch said, pulling out his phone to take pictures. "God, my phone is full of pictures of her." He smiled, scrolling through his gallery.

Scott chuckled and wrap his arms around mitch from behind, resting his hands on his belly. "You say that like its a bad thing."

"No. I just want to have as many pictures of her this little while I can, before she starts getting older and has a bunch of weird sexual urges and gets all hormonal."

"It wont be that bad."

Mitch shrugged and just looked at the two babies hugging. Or well, Zac hugging Addalin. She still didn't know what to do with herself. This was a very long hug.
