Chapter 101: Leigh

We're doing a tiny time skip. Like a month lol.

Also, I am LIVING for mitchs lower register on the EP.

Blinding Lights and Cologne are probably my favorite out of all six (not that I dont love them all) I just love mitchs lower voice.

But besides that.

Let's read, shall we?

I wake up to Zac kicking me. "Come on baby, I'm trying to sleep." I whine quietly, because Kevin is sleeping next to me.

Or at least I thought he was. He moves and leans down to kiss my belly.

"Are you causing mommy problems?" He cooed.

I laugh. "How long have you been awake?"

He come up to my face and kisses me. "A while. I've been watching you sleep."

"Creep." I smile.

"Nah, I'm just admiring your beauty. Besides, I think you were having a bad dream. You kept whimpering. Are you okay?" He cups my face and strokes my cheekbone with his thumb.

"I've been having dreams about losing the baby." I say quietly, tears coming to my eyes.

"Baby." He kisses my forehead. "That's not gonna happen. He is just fine. The doctor even said that he's one of the healthiest babies he's seen in a while. Nothing will happen. Both of you are gonna be just fine." He assures me.

"Yeah?" I sniffle.

"Absolutely." He puts a hand to my stomach. "One more month."

"One more month." I place my hand over his. "I love you."

He smiles and gives me a slow, loving kiss. "I love you too sweetheart. Come here." He pulls me into his side and wraps a comforting arm around me. "You think you can go back to sleep?" He kisses my head.

"I just wanna lay here with you for a bit, if that's okay." I look at him.

"Of course it is." He gives me a tight squeeze. "But I do want you to try and go back to sleep, alright?"

I nod and snuggle into his bare chest. This baby certainly wasn't planned, but I wouldn't trade it for anything. I've been in love with Kevin since college. I just never thought he felt the same.

He contacted me and we talked for a bit before we actually went out on a date. A few dates later, we had a couple drinks and now we're expecting a baby. I still haven't wrapped my head around it, to be completely honest. But I couldn't be happier.

I trace little shapes on his chest with my finger as I slowly drift off to sleep.

I feel Kevin shaking me to wake me up. He gives me a soft kiss and I smile. "Morning." I mumble.

"Good morning, love." He smiles back. He helps me sit up. He hands me my shirt, as its way to hot at night for me to were it to bed.

After i put it on he helps me to my feet and I wrap myself around him, giving him a big hug. "You're so good to me. Are you trying to earn brownie points?" I look up to him.

"Depends on what it gets me." He chuckles.

I stand on my tiptoes and kiss him. "I'll meet you downstairs, okay?"
