(I'm so sorry for not writing anything in such a long time. The writer's block still stands hard but I managed to squeeze out a fast chapter for ya'll. Again, I'm very sorry / \)

You happily trotted the streets of your little town, trying to find your dad. You had to tell him the great news you've learned!
As you ran through the town, you saw many red hanging lamps and paper hearts on the walls. It was valentines day soon! And even if you didn't really have anyone to go with, you still loved to see any two idiots sit at a bar and get drunk together. I suppose love blossoms in many ways for many people...
You trotted into one of the decorated houses, a bar, and looked around. There were a few kids and more valentines day decorations. The guys and gals were setting on rest of the paper hearts while cooing at each other. You trotted closer and poked one of the girls a little.
"Hey Sarah, have you seen my dad?"
"Have you seen TJ?" The girl pissedly replied, her boyfriend laughing. You weren't always a big fan of hers...
TJ was her ex who rode out of the town. He wanted to make it big in the city but since he came back, it appently did jack shit.
"Okay fuck you too, I hope you stub your toe..." You murmured under your breath and gone to ask someome else.

In the corner of the room, sat your friend, the red haired Misha herself.
"Hey Mish Mish, didn't you say you were gonna finnish with this?" You chuckled sitting next to her and picking up an empty beer bottle. "It's Valentine's asshole I can do what I want" Misha chuckled back. "Know where my dad is?" You asked her after a while. "Yeah yeah, he was at the uuuuhhhhhh... what's the english name for it... uhh..." She was deeply thinking about the thought place. "Stooooore??" Misha said in a questioning voice, dragging out the word. "But he'll get here, you should stay and have a beer" Misha smiled, slamming a new bottle on the table. "Yeah, okay" You chuckled, having a quick drink.

After waiting for about ten minutes, the door swung open and your dad with his friend walked in. The men had wrinkly faces, already looking like they were at the end of their damn lives. "Hey dad!" You waved at your father happily. The man aproached you. "Me and Misha were just talking about you" You smiled, pointing with your thumb towards the red head. "Yo pops" she made the alien welcome sighn with her hand.
"Dad, do you know what day it is soon?"
"I dunno, friday? Is it friday already?" Your dad jokingly asked. "Noo, it's valentines! Drunk teens, lovebirds, sad idiots" You pointed to the kids that were snuggling and kissing with each other and then towards Misha when you were mentioning the sad idiots part. "Yes, I suppose so..." The old man said, stroking his chin. Soon he started walking towards the kitchen. "You're still not very happy about it hm?" You asked, trotting behind him.
"No, not one bit. The town is going to bathe in blood because of this... this mistake" Your dad replied unhappily, checking the kitchen. His Valentine's day job was to check if everything was in order, working and fine. "This 'ole story again?" You asked the old man.
"Yes, this 'ole story again, we should've stayed at home. Not do this foolish celebration" He replied turning a little angry to you. He was not mad at you, never was, it was just his worry speaking.

"Hey dad..?" You decided to ask after a while of silence.
"Yes honey?" Dad kept looking into his little book, writing something down. "I know you won't like the idea buuuut..." You sat on top of a counter, stretching the words out.
"Old lady Mabel is pretty lonely, and she'll be working in the laundry house... I was thinkin', can I be with her?" You asked, making puppy eyes.
"Absolutely, not." Your father said sternly. "Dad pleeeease! I hate the other kids, let me help a poor old lonely lady!" You pleaded again, dad finnaly looking at you.
"I already told you several times, you go out, you find the miner murderer Harry Warden and you get hurt badly! You could even get..." The old man shushed himself mid-sentence. He probably didn't want to think about some things the "dead" murderer could do to you.
"Dad, she'll be all alone... I want to help" You pushed some more. "We'll be indoors the entire time, you don't have to worry" You pushed again, scooting closer to your parent.
He let out a tired sigh, closing his notebook. "You promise to stay inside?"
"Yes!" You said with happiness.
"With Mabel?" Dad asked another question.
"Yes" You answered, still smiling.
"And help her with her work?" Dad asked once again.
"Oh my god... yes dad. I will help Mabel. Can I go? Please?" You asked one last time, tired of the questions but still smiling.
"Alright, you can go... but don't stay longer than Mabel you hear!" He yelled at the exit running you.
"Yeah yeah thanks dad love yaa!" You quickly yelled out before darting out from the door.
"That girl will be the death of me..." The old man said to himself, chuckling at his wild daugher. "Don't worry boss, your girl is a smart stick, she'll be alright in the town" A younger boy approached your father, smiling. "I sure hope you're right son... hey, could you pass me the..."

A little timeskip to the laundry house
"Mrs Mabel? I'm here to help you around!" You opened the door slowly, smiling. The sound of the rolling washing mashines full of water filled the smaller house.
"...(Y/n)?" The older lady's voice said scaredy. She was a kind cheery lady and the sudden fear in her voice was very unusual. "Yes, it's me Mabel, is everything alright?" You asked, hanging your vest on the coat hanger. "Yes my dear everything is okay, I was just... I thought I saw someone watching me from the window there" Mabel walked out from the corner of the washing machines, smiling nervously. She pointed to the window you just walked past.
"When was it?" You asked, confusedly looking at the window. "A... a few minutes ago... say, why'd you come here?" Mabel tried to push the uncomfortable topic off.
"Oh um, I wanted to help you, you're all alone in here and I'm sure you could use some help with the decorations!" You smiled at the elderly lady, picking up one of the small paper balls. "You're a dear... why don't you go and hang that here? With your help, we'll be done sooner than you'll say Valentine!"
