The basement was cold...So cold... you're probably gonna stay here for a couple of days at least. When you and Nubbins arrived at the the graveyard, the sun was setting, so now it has to be dark outside already. You're probably gonna have to sleep in here too... If you're not gonna be sick from this cold, it would be suprising.

As a way of passing time, you decided to walk around a bit. You discovered some kind of closet, in which various chainsaw teeth and oils were stored in, along with some knifes and ropes. Walking as far as the chain let you, you found various useless things hidden around the basement. Such as a very colorful pieces of cloth or a painted skull. Speaking of skulls...There were a lot of bones in this basement. They mostly hung from the celing in the back, they were painted blue, yellow, red, any kind of color. It looked kinda cute and somewhat comfortable. They swung through the air, sometimes hitting each other and making little quiet clunks. In the corner was something that looked like a chair in the making. The back was made from several spines, the legs from leg bones and the ends of the chair arms had two skulls which were already painted. Bubba must've had a lot of patience with theese kind of things.

Walking around the basement soon began to be boring and so you decided to do what you always do to pass time. Sleep. You laid onto some hard wooden crates that were there and shut your eyes tight. It was very cold in the basement but you just had to get some sleep and so you decided to think. Thinking about the things you like made you feel warm on the inside and slowly made you fall asleep. You had your dreams about traveling again. It was so nice to sit in your pick up and drive around the long roads. The warmness of the air on your skin again and the sun shining above. You didn't think you'd miss it this hard. You couldn't help it, but soon you felt a little tear run down your cheek. It made you wake up. You missed the sun...even though you've been locked here for about three or two hours, you missed it. You couldn't just be contained like this. You had to get out one way or another.

You let out a sigh, and short after you heard the iconic metal door shift. It tugged a bit with you, you were happy you could see someone again. Even though it's someone like Bubba. Wait... What if it's not Bubba..maybe it's Drayton, and if he finds you, you're gonna die and Bubba will get beat. You can't move untill you know that it's him for sure. You stayed put. Not moving a muscle. You were soon relived when you heard a quiet pig squeak. Maybe it's just you but...The squeak sounded so sad. As if he was worried you escaped. As if he was scared you left. You decided to finnaly turn around and gave him a grunt of "why are you waking me up and what are you doing in my swamp"
The killer was looking diferent now. He had something that could be concidered a suit. He had the white shirt and an unbuttoned long sleeve vest, with some black pants. Well...when Drayton said dress up, Bubba took it by the antlers.
He responded with another happy squeal. He walked over to you, squat down and handed you a wooden bowl. You sat up and took it, examining the inside. It was hard to decide what it was in the dim light, but since you heard words about a stew you assumed it's that. The second thing that bothered you now was... it's from a human...are you really going to eat it? You were pretty hungry, but are you that desperate that you'll eat another human? You looked at Bubba who was now sitting on the ground, playing with his fingers and expecting you to dig in.

You took a deep breath, grabbed the crooked spoon and began eating. It tasted...good. It tasted like any other stew, the meat was soft and tasted like rabbit. Bubba was looking at you with the happiest expression ever and claped a bit. You smiled at him and continued eating. The food was still warm and it helped you get warm. You thanked Bubba for that. He responded with a head twist again. You began explaining that the basement is very cold and that he doesn't feel it because he's always moving. Bubba began playing with his fingers as soon as he understood. Almost as if he was saying sorry that way... You wanted to show him that it's okay, but how..? You got a bit of a crazy idea...Let's try...You stretched your arm out and slowly put it on his ruffy hair. It tugged with him, he left you to it, but didn't know what this meant. It was such a soft touch, it was so long since he got this much softness. "It's okay Bubba..." You said rufling his hair a tiny bit and letting go. Or...you wanted to...But your hand was grabbed by your wrist, and pulled back on his head.

A tiny smile embraced your lips as your fingers slowly went into his fluffy hair, scratching him here and there. He quietly whined and pushed his head into your hand. He's like a big puppy...You decided to put the bowl to your side and involve your second hand which made Bubba slide closer to you. This little pet sesion continued for about three minutes before you decided to risk some more. You slowly slid down his face, to his cheeks and made him look up. His dark, almost black eyes spoke such softness and inocence. You couldn't help but smile at him. Bubba suddenly got out of your grasp and got up, taking his vest off. He sat next to you and threw it around your back, pulling you closer to him. You freaked out a bit about this, you were laying on the chest of a killer, with the vest of the killer, in the kiLLERS BASEMENT. You slowly began to get comfortable with his grip, putting your hands on his chest as well and listening to his heartbeat. "C...coLd..." You heard from above. Did...did Bubba just speak? Well..I say speak but it was more like a...weak word that has been mixed with a squeal of a child that hadn't spoken in years. You smiled at his attempt of speech and responded with a whisper of a "Thank you Bubs..."
