Lost in the Past

Catra's POV:

"Hey Catra! Whatcha doing~", I hear Adora's voice and turn to see kid Adora. I crouch down and smile, "Hey Adora". Adora only looks ahead before I heard giggling. I turned to see kid me and Lonnie playing. I look down at my hands and try to touch Adora only for my hand to go through her head. What is this?! I sigh and run a hand through my hair before murmuring, "This is like in Adora's fairy castle of sparkles eh? Fine".

I follow Kid Adora and my eyes softened when I saw Kid me and Lonnie wrestling. I watched as Adora screeched and pulled us apart. "H-Hey! Stop! Whats wrong with you two?!", Kid Adora says sternly. I smirk at the scene. Shes always been so in control of these situations eh. I watched as Kid Adora pulled me away from Lonnie and held my shoulders. "What were you thinking?! You know what Shadow Weaver will do to you when she finds about this! You need to stop messing with Lonnie!". Kid Me growled and said, "She was being mean! T-To you". I raised a brow and chuckled, "I was always protecting you Adora".

I saw a familiar being through my peripheral vision and whirled around, "Hey! Wait!", I yell as I run after the familiar being. They turned the corner of the corridor and I followed them. Walking into another room. "C-Catra! Wait! Hold on!", I hear Adora yelling and my chuckling. I turn around to see Adora and I climbing the wires like monkey bars and swinging off of them. "Heh! How does it feel to be the slowest person on the world Adora?", Little Me says as I show off a bit and flip off the monkey bars. I sigh and followed our kid selves as they ran off towards Shadow Weaver's inner quarters. "Woaaah", I hear little me say as I look at Shadow Weaver's black garnet.

I sigh and murmur sadly, "You shouldnt have gone in". I watched as little me grabbed little Adora's hand and dragged her in. I grit my teeth and watched the following scenes play out: Shadow Weaver catches us hiding behind the Garnet and as we tried to run we were boxed in by Shadow Weaver's dark magic. I was paralyzed. "Catra, I've come to expect such disappointing behaviors from you but if you ever bring Adora down with you, I'll rid of you myself". I grit my teeth as I watched the scene play out. Before I saw the same being walk by again.

I whirl around and begin following it before it stopped and turned around. My eyes widening when I saw Double Trouble. "Hello kitty", Double Trouble says smugly. I growl and ask, "Why am I here?! What did you do?". Double Trouble chuckles and walks towards me, "Me? I didnt do anything darling. This is all in your mind. I just happen to be able to hop into minds. And let me remind you, you're in a medically induced coma". My eyes widen and I shout, "What in the holy fuck are you talking about Double Trouble?!". They only put they're hands in front of them and say, "Oi! Not my fault you got in the trajectory of a gigantic sword that punctured your abdomen and torso and almost hit your heart till you pulled it out like the fucking idiot you are and almost bled out in Adora's arm". I look at Double Trouble exasperatedly and ask, "H-How do you know about that?". Double Trouble chuckles and says, "I was watching the whole fight my dear. What was it you were about to tell Adora?". My ears flatten against my head and I grumble, "Nothing. How long have I been in this coma?". Double Trouble looks at their nails and says, "four weeks".

My jaw fell open and I grab Double Trouble by the shoulders and growl, "What?! Dont fucking mess with me!".  They smack my hands off their shoulders and giggle, "Ah I've missed the aggression kitty truly, but im not fucking with you. You have been in this coma for 4 weeks. And Adora, shes been worried sick". I scoff and turn from them. "No seriously you should see how she is", Double Trouble says as they grab me by the shoulder and whirl me around. They become Adora and they mimic her, "Oh Catra, please wake up! I love you!", they put their head in their hand before fake crying. They return to regular form before saying, "Honestlyy its breaking my sanity watching her mope around. Like you should see the poor girl's bags. They look like Lord Hordak's ball sack". I raise a brow and ask, "How do you even know what that looks like?".

They smirk and say, "Lets just say he thought I was Entrapta". My eyes widened and I sighed, "God I wish I didnt hear that. Anyways, how do I wake up?". Double Trouble chuckles softly before placing their hands on my shoulder and saying, "Oh kitty, you gotta wake yourself up. But I'll help you", before I knew it I was shoved into a wall. I grunt and look at Double Trouble impatiently, "Whats the big fucking deal asshole?". They punch me in the stomach making me groan. I try to grab them to beat their ass only for my hands to faze through. They grab me by the collar of my shirt and smirk at me before saying, "Let me explain it to you kitty, Imma give you a reality check". Before they whirled around and threw me into the hallway.

I crashed into the wall and groaned, slipping down and sitting down watching as the "corridor" became very similar and I was surrounded by flames, sitting by the wreck Hordak and I created when we fought. I look over to my left and see Hordak crushed under a  piece of machinery that fell onto him when I ripped out the crystal from his chest. Double Trouble approaches me before saying, "You know it took me a while to figure out your character kitten". Before They transform into me.

"You try so hard to be the big bad villain", They say as they walk up to be, circling me before leaning on my back. I raise a brow and growl, "I AM the Big Bad Villain! Thank you very much!". They chuckle and flick my chin up with my tail and say, "But your heart hasnt really been in it, has it?". My eyes furrow and I look at them incredulously, "Wha- What are you?! Stop! Stop it!". I dig my nails into my hair before going to push them only for them to catch my hands and get in my face, "People have hurt you, havent they?". They step back and transform into Shadow Weaver, " didnt believe in you". I grit my teeth and clench my fists before they transform into Hordak, "Didnt trust you" I grumble and take out my claws until they transform into Adora, "Didnt need you", They grab my hand and put it to their cheek and says harshly, "left you". I pull my hand away from their cheek and stumble backwards landing on my ass and look up at them shakily.

They transform back to their original form and ask, "But have you ever sat back and thought that they werent the problem?". I growl and say, "What are you playing at?!". They transform into Scorpia. My eyes widen and I felt my ears flatten against my head as they say, "Its you. You drive them away wildcat". It starts getting harder to breath and I ask hoarsely, "W-Why are you doing this?!".  They chuckle and transform into Adora well Adora in her She-Ra form. "Wake up kitten", I felt a sharp pain all over my body but mostly in my torso area and look down to see Adora's sword dug into my torso. I see my blood dripping from my wound and down on the floor.

I look up at Double Trouble and ask, "W-What is thi-" before I started coughing. I felt something wet on my hand and looked down only to be met with red. They only smile at me sadly and say, "You have to wake up kitten". Before I felt my eyes closing against my will.

I opened my eyes with a gasp and was met with the feeling of something heavy against my side. I look around and make the realization that Im not familiar with this place. I hear snoring and look around only to be met with a rough looking Adora tucked into my side, her arms and legs wrapped around my body and her head was on my chest as I had my arm around her back. Where am I?! am I in Brightmoon?

I sigh and go to move only to be met with an intense throbbing pain bolt throughout my body. I let out a gasp of pain which seemed to alert Adora because she jolted awake and looked up at me, her ocean orbs looking into mine. My eyes widened when I saw tears forming in them, "A-Adora, dont cry", I say trying to calm her emotions down only to make it worse. She burst into sobs and grasped onto my chest and continued repeating, "Im sorry" over and over again. I sigh and use the arm I had strewn across her back to rub comforting circles on her back. "Shhhh its ok, go back to sleep", I whisper into her hair. She holds on tighter to me like if she let go I would die. Adora looked up at me with tear-stained cheeks and says in a small voice, "W-Will you be awake in the m-morning". I nod and say softly, "Yes Adora, now sleep. We'll talk more tomorrow morning ok?". She nods and readjusts her body against mine so she was holding my arm and cuddled tighter to me. She really was worried. I sigh and close my eyes before drifting off into sleep.
