Weird Dreams and Babysitting?

Kade approached his little sister and crouched down in front of her . 'Don't cry, Cubby. Your big brother is here to protect you, now what happened?'. Kade coos seeing that his baby sister was crying. 'M-Mom being mean to me say me no p-play with Kade', baby Catra babbles as snot ran down her nose into her mouth. Kade giggles at his sister's antics and wipes the baby feline's snot with a napkin and picks her up, taking her to the play room. 'Yay! Me play! Me play!', the baby feline squeals as Kade lays her down on the foam matt.

Kade watched as his baby sister ran around grabbing building cubes and animals and throwing them. The feisty little cub ran towards the adolescent boy squealing before Kade stopped her placing his index and middle finger in the middle of her forehead and saying, ' nuh uh uh little lion, who are you coming at with that chubby cuteness?'. Catra only blinked and said, 'Me wuv Kade. Kade wuv me? Yes or no?'. Kade smiles and pushed the little feline's head back gently with those two fingers and said softly, ' of course Kade wuv you Catra. I am always going to be there for you, even if it is only as an obstacle for you to overcome, you and I have to live together, even if it means hating each other, that...is what big brothers are for...'.

Catra woke up with a jolt, her chest heaving as sweat dripped off her forehead. What the fuck was that? It felt so familiar yet so estranged. What the hell are you talking about Catra, its just a dream. Catra looked around her eyes steeled as she looked around the room for any trace of her brother, her eyes widening when she realized that Adora wasnt in bed.

She quickly jumped out of bed and ran down the hall, checking each door and room separately. " Adora! Adora! Where are you?!", Catra calls for her fiancée fear crawling up her spine as she couldnt find her lover anywhere.

Catra was about to go outside and start organizing search parties until she heard the sound of someone retching loudly. Adora! Catra quickly followed the sound to reveal Adora bended over a toilet and vomiting her guts out. Catra's eyes softened as she slid over to her fiancée and held her hair up for her, rubbing her back gently as she let out all the vomit she could.

Adora looked at Catra and said raspily, "A-Are you o-ok? I h-heard you calling m-my name". Catra scoffed and helped the young soon-to-be mother up onto her feet, wrapping her arm around the girl's back and picking her up from behind her thighs and saying, "Adora, im fine. I was worried about you". Adora groaned and said groggily, "You dont have to worry about m-".

Catra gave her a glare that made her eyes widen at the strictness and authority that pierced through the feline's blue and yellow eyes. "You are to stay in bed, drink water and I'll make you some ginger tea and some pancakes, eggs and a berry and grail pack from the shopping tent that you liked. Ok?", Catra says sternly as she laid the girl in the bed.

"Catra you cant e-expect me to stay here wh-while you're going to y-your first day of training"

"You have to baby, you're not feeling well. I dont want anything to happen to you or the baby. I'll have Crystela come and take care of you and have Colossus guard you. Ok?".

"I-Im not worried about myself C-Catra"

"Well you should be Adora"

"Why?"

"Because you're pregnant a-and you're vulnerable and I-I cant lose you"

"B-But I want to see your f-first training"

"Adora, I'll have plenty of others you can come and watch. Or I'll tell Iroh to let us train here".

"B-But-"

"This is the end of the discussion Adora. You are staying here where I know you'll be safe and well treated. I'll make you your breakfast and tea now ok?".

Adora sighed and nodded, hating the fact that she felt so weak and that Catra wouldnt let her go anywhere. I appreciate Catra being protective over me and watching over me but Im an adult woman, I can fend for myself. Adora thought to herself, getting annoyed with the idea of her staying here not being able to train with Catra, Bow, and Glimmer.

After a few minutes, Catra came in balancing three plates on a tray in one hand and a cup of what seemed to be tea in the other hand. Catra set the tray down onto the nightstand next to Adora and handed her the ginger tea.

"You might wanna blow on i-"

" I KNOW CATRA! IM A GROWN FUCKING WOMAN!"

Catra blinked, shocked by Adora's outburst as she watched the girl blow on the tea and drink it. She slammed the cup down with a harsh thud making Catra's ears hurt. "Baby I-", Catra starts but Adora only shakes her head and looks away from Catra and says lowly, "Just go get ready for your training already". Catra sighed patting Adora's thigh twice and leaning forward and pressing a kiss to the top of the girl's head before saying, "Ok, I love you babe". And leaving to get ready.

What the hell was that about? I was just warning her about the tea. Catra thought to herself as she tugged on her usual outfit and walking past their bedroom to see Adora eating the pancakes she made her with a pout. Shes mad because she cant go. But I need to make sure shes ok. Plus that was her pregnancy hormones talking earlier. Catra thought before she walked out the door and yelled, " I'm leaving baby! Remember if you need anything Crystela and Colossus will help you. I love you Adora".

Catra smiled when she heard a "I love you too" as she closed the door and locked it. Catra made her way towards Colossus and Crystela's house.

She knocked twice, and before she knew it Crystela was in front of her a small smile on her face. "Hey good morning Crystela. Can you and Colossus watch over Adora while im gone? Shes a bit sick and I dont want her leaving the house", Catra asks pleadingly. Crystela nods and says, "Thats fine with me. I'll inform Colossus. We'll head over once you leave". Catra smiles and says, "Thank you, I appreciate it tremendously. Now imma leave you alone and get to where I need to be". Crystela barely had enough time to respond as she watched the feline speed off leaving a trail of dust behind her as she yelled, " Thanks Again!".

Colossus sighs behind her and says, "Fuck me, what a dragggg. Now we gotta baby sit a moody pregnant woman". Crystela chuckles and says, "Correction: a moody pregnant woman who happens to be She-Ra". Colossus groans and says, "I hate you but I love you". Crystela winks and pressed a kiss to the boy's lips and said, "Love you too, now get dressed we gotta take care of Adora".
