The Fall of the Horde

Glimmer's POV:

I sent Bow and Adora along with Netossa and Spinerella to the field, Catra had rebuilt and sent hundreds of bots towards Brightmoon. Adora had been training for days since the encounter with Catra. Its been two weeks already. I helped Adora train and Bow did too. We tried everything we could to keep Adora positive.  To keep her from being negative, which I mean honestly she handled everything well. She was still the strong, amazing, stubborn, intelligent and strong-willed friend that we knew. Even though it was a facade she used in front of the princess alliance but we all knew she was broken hearted on the inside. Catra too, she just has a funny way of showing it. Which is exactly why I needed to do this.

I teleported into Horde headquarters and took out the guards. I heard footsteps and immediately knew who it was. "Hello... Catra", I say turning around with a smirk on my face. Catra grins and says, "Hello Sparkles, nice of you to stop by but it was extremely rude of you to come in without stating your purpose. Im quite disappointed in you, you know with your fancy queen etiquette and all that". I growl and run at her, grabbing her by the neck and slamming her into the wall.

"Dont worry about being rude Catra. You would know all about that wouldn't you? After all you said and did to Adora?! You broke her heart Catra. You broke her down into pieces and even though shes trying her best not to break down into tears on the field shes falling apart on the inside. She trusted you. I TRUSTED YOU". Catra smirks down at me and says lowly, "Then you both are fucking idiots. You should know to NEVER trust someone from the Horde, eh?". I go to slam my fist into her torso before she grabs my wrist and twists it around lifting me up in the air, whirling us around and flinging me into a wall.

I groan and drag down the wall before I saw her running towards me, my eyes widen and I teleport behind her. I kick her in the back making her groan before she jumps up in the air, flipping in the air and kicking me in the face. I growl and grab her leg and knee her in the balls. I watch in amusement and she cupped her crotch and groaned in pain. I picked her up by the collar and threw her into the roof. I kicked her in the stomach as she was falling down. I kicked her so hard she was sent flying out of the corridor and flying into the control panel of the Horde. I teleport into the control panel before seeing her buried under a shit ton of metal panels.

I walk over, chest heaving and grab her out of the pile of shit she was under. "Do you understand how much pain you put all of us in?!", I say angrily and slam her into the ground making her hit the ground with a thud that echoed through the room. Catra growls and twists her body around and kicks me in the face, sending me into the pile of metal panels she was buried under. I heard hissing and then the smell of gas and thats when an idea popped in my head. I looked to see a leaking gas pipe. I look around a bit more to see some wires. They're not insulated. Which means if they were to be broken, it could explode this whole place since everything is connected to this control panel. "Hey kitty, come here", I say looking at Catra with a smirk. Catra growls and says, "Dont call me kitty Sparkles!". She yells as she runs and tackled me to the ground, digging her claws into my chest and ripping the skin off . I let out a shout of pain and grip onto her shoulders, bringing my hips up and settling my feet on the middle of her torso, kicking her off of me and into the gas pipe I saw earlier.

The pipe broke and I watched as her claws ripped open the broken wires and the place lit on fire. "NO!", Catra growls and goes to jump over the pipe when her foot was caught on something and she tripped. I heard the sound of metal creaking and looked up to see the metal panels that were holding the roof and building in general coming down almost in slow-mo. I go to teleport only to be stuck in place. God damn the limited uses of teleportation I have! UGHHHHHHH

I groan and yell, "Come on!", but it was too late. I close my eyes and let it happen. Oh shit, Im sorry Adora. Bow. I never got to tell you how much you guys meant to me. This is how my life ends eh? Im sorry Bow. I wish I couldve told you how much I loved you. DAMN YOU CATRA. Before I knew it I heard a thud and a groan. I open my eyes to see Catra on top of me. My eyes widen when I realized that she was holding the metal panels up on her back. She saved me?! What the hell? What is she playing at.

"S-Stop looking all starry eyed Your Majesty and get out of here. Its about to blow", Catra says through gritted teeth. I chuckle and say, "Perfect. Now you can stay here and die". Catra chuckles and says, "Yeah, but you will too. So get out from under me Sparkles. I wont be able to hold this up any longer". I scoff and say, "What the big bad villain isnt strong enough to save both of us? What are you playing at?!". Catra groans and says, "Im just trying to fucking get you out of here in one PIECE. Stop being so damn stubborn and teleport out of here!". "I would if I could but I need to recharge. I ran out of teleports". Catra growled and mumbled something incoherent under her breath. I growl and I was about to say something when Catra grunts and yelled, "FUCKING HELL ALL OF YOU PRINCESS TYPES ARE SO FRUSTRATING!", before she grabbed me by the middle of my shirt and slid me away from the metal and fiery death that was coming for me. I groan when I hit the wall and watched with wide eyes and watched as the panels and pillars of metal start falling faster.

"Catra! What are you-?!", I yell before Catra runs out of the smoke and grabs my arm and says, "Theres no fucking time Sparkles, we have to get out of here!". I nod and she says, "Im going to have to carry you, its faster". I nod and yell, "I dont care!! Just get us out of here!". She nods and grabs me by behind my thighs and picks me up bridal style. Catra starts running through the halls of the Horde yelling for the soldiers to get out. Soon there was a mob of Horde soldiers running out with us. We were approaching the exit when Catra stopped with a gasp.

I looked up at her and asked, "Catra why the hell did you fucking STOP?!". Catra growls and hands me over to that one alligator looking fellow I believe is named Rogelio and says, "I forgot somebody". My brows furrow together and I ask, "Who?!". Catra grunts and says, "Lonnie, now Rogelio go! Get the Queen out of here". Rogelio roars in approval and throws me over his shoulder and runs out. My eyes widened when I saw Catra running into the flames again. After we get out, Rogelio sits me down and I stand up and say, "Rogelio make sure everyone is ok. I need to go get Catra". Rogelio roars and starts growling. I ignored his disapproval and ran towards the firey hell that is the Horde base. My eyes widened when I saw a soot-covered Catra come out with a limp Lonnie over her back. I hear Catra's gasp and she yells frustratedly, "Get the fuck out of the way you idiot its going to blow!". On cue there was a loud rumble and we all turned in horror.

Catra growls and throws Lonnie towards Rogelio, which he caught her and held on to her before hiding behind a rock far away from the base. My eyes widened when Catra tackled me to the ground. Almost oddly timed there was a huge explosion and embers of fire and debris fell from the sky. I looked up at Catra in surprise. Catra's breathing was ragged and she started coughing. She looked down at me and I saw the physical exhaustion and mental conflict raging through her eyes as she looked down at me. I felt something surge through me and I closed my eyes and pressed my lips against hers. Catra pulled back and before I could say anything I watched through blurry and burning eyes from the smoke and debris as Catra collapsed.

I only broke into a fit of coughs and felt myself falling unconscious. Before I saw a ray of green and felt my body getting lifted up in the air. I shut my eyes and let my body give into the exhaustion.
