The Great Test: The Great Dragon of the West vs The Royal Heir (pt 1 of 3)

Adora's POV:

Catra and I walked hand in hand, I was surprised by how calm she was. "Baby, are you nervous?", I asked looking at her. Catra snorts, turning to me and saying, "Nervous? Im not nervous my dear. Im practically pumping with adrenaline", She paused and extended her hand out towards me, stopping me so I we were face to face opening her palm.

"I feel it in my veins, its weird but im not nervous Adora", Catra says looking at me with a smile. I grinned looking at the cheeky glint in her eyes and put my hand on her shoulders, leaning up and pressing a kiss to her lips. Catra's arms wrapped around my waist snuggly before she pulled back and looked down at me, "Will you be there baby?". Catra asks softly, looking into my eyes with so much love and adoration.

"Is that even a question? Of course I'll be there I need to see my fiancée beat the living shit out Ol' man Iroh", I snark a smirk playing on my lips. Catra chuckled and said, "Im glad I have you cheering me on". I nodded and hugged her tightly.

"If he hurts you too badly I will beat the shit out of him"

"Woaaah down girl, I appreciate it babe but you wont need to do any beating of anyone's asses because I know im going to win"

"And if you dont?"

"If I dont then I'll practice my ass off for the remaining months I have with Iroh"

"Anyways I believe you'll win anyways, I have faith in you my love".

Catra smiles and cupped my cheek, leaning forward and pressing a soft kiss to my forehead before pulling back and saying, "Thank you Adora, I need you by my side. Always and Forever". I nodded and pressed my forehead against hers and whispered, "Always and Forever my love".

"Oi oi oi! Too much loving not enough fighting", A voice exclaimed from behind us. I quirked a brow and looked over Catra's shoulder to see Colossus and Crystela walking towards us. Colossus had his hands clasped behind his neck as he walked nonchalantly while Crystela walked with class. They're polar opposites but they work amazingly well together.

Catra scoffs and turns around, wrapping her arm around my waist and facing the couple walking towards us. "That means nothing coming from you mate, you fight too much and love minimally", Catra snarked as a knowing smirk rose on her face. I covered my mouth to muffle the laughter threatening to expel from my lips.

Colossus's face turned red and he walked toward Catra goofily, taking large steps his shoulders squared as arms as he squared Catra up his bottom lip pursed hilariously as he exclaimed, "WHATTTT DID YOU SAY TO MEEEE?!". Catra chuckled and said nonchalantly, "Calm down you idiot, your sensitivity is showing".

Colossus's face turned tomato red, and before I knew it the two were bickering like two idiots. Crystela wrapped her arm around my neck and said, "Lets just let them do their thing". I nodded chuckling, "Its never a good to have two hardheaded short tempered warriors together". Crystela nodded and we both looked back at our lovers, who were still going at it.

"Yo! Bow is in the HOUSEEEEE", Bow whoops throwing his fist in the air approaching Crystela and I with Glimmer following behind. "Uhmm whats wrong with dumb and dumber in the back?", Glimmer asks with a chuckle once Bow and her reached us, she pointed to the two who were still in eachother's face behind Crystela and I.

"Catra got on Colossus's nerves,  and boom that happened", Crystela answered pinching the bridge of her nose. I chuckled and said, "Well you know how they are eh Bow? Glimmer?".

"Damn right"

"Thats true"

"Ok you two! Enough!", my eyes widened when I heard a voice I didnt think I would evee hear. I turned around with Crystela my eyes widening when I saw King Giosis and another woman.

"K-King Giosis!"

"Father!"

Colossus and Catra both bowed respectfully making the king chuckle before saying, "Enough with the formalities you two.  I just wanted to you stop your bickering. Now, when is the match starting with the Great Dragon of The West and my Bestfriend's daughter.. The One True Royal Heir". I watched as Catra stood up straight lending the king her hand and saying, "Yes sir, we just need to head to the lake". Giosis nodded and squealed , "Alrighty lets get a move on then! Im excited".

Bow and Glimmer looked at Crystela surprised that the king would even know about Iroh and Catra's match. Catra's going to have an audience thats for sure. Crystela and I walked ahead, along with Bow and Glimmer the king and the woman he brought with him behind us and Catra and Colossus behind them

I hope Catra doesnt get nervous with the fact that the KING her father's bestfriend came to watch her fight.. nonetheless, I believe in her.
