Finding Krytis (Pt 3 of 3)

Catra's POV:

I hit the floor with a thud, I sit up with a groan and rub my back. I look around, jumping back and putting my hand on my chest when I saw the ridiculously tall figure with the blue mane and blue eyes. "Holy shit! How are you that fucking silent? Almost gave me a damn heart attack", I yell before it whimpers and transforms into a lion-like being. My eyes soften and I hesitantly take a step forward, offering the strange being my hand, smiling when it nudged my hand with its snout and started to purr.

I chuckle and sit down, making it's tail start going crazy before it tackled me, putting its paws on my shoulders and licking my face. I groan and pet its head, sitting myself up and saying, "Ok ok buddy, I appreciate you not trying to rip my head off but Im not all about the affection alright?". The lion nudged my head with his and sat down purring quietly. I grin softly and pet his head gently. "Catra a-are you petting the thing that tried to kill us?", Adora's voice made my eyes widen and whirl around to face her, Glimmer and Bow by her side.

I saw the stars in all their eyes and groaned, "Im trying something here Adora... can you not?". Adora giggles and says, "Ok but..", Bow squeals and finishes her sentence, " ITS SO FUCKING CUTEEEEE!". I growl and turn to them, my tail frizzing up along with my hair and bark out, " ITS NOT CUTE!". I hear a ferocious growl behind me and turn around my eyes widening when I saw the Lion's mane was red, their tail whipping around, and the hair of their mane was sticking up in a threatening way. Adora gasps and yells, "Get away from her!" and  starts running at it but I grab her hips, making her stop and look at me, cheeks red with blush and I sigh leaving one hand on her hip and the other rubbing my nose trying to control my temper and I look at her and smile softly, "Im sorry, I got angry. I'm trying to control it". Adora's eyes filled with tears and stars formed in them and she squealed, "Awh really?". I sigh and say quietly, "Yes, and I think that thing responds to emotion or my emotion?".

Adora's mouth forms an 'O' and she nods and says quietly, "Sorry". I chuckle and squeeze her hip gently and say, "Its alright princess, now let's figure out who this big guy is shall we?". Before I knew it, I was on the floor with the big guy on top of me, licking at my face like a child would a lollipop. I groan and gag when I felt the saliva drip off my damn face. I hear the three idiots laughing beside me and I groan and slip out from under the lion and say, "Ok! Ok! Stop with the licking. My face is drenched in your saliva". The lion stops and sits up, wrapping its tail around his paws. I sigh and sit up, wiping off its saliva from my face before I heard a low-voice, "Hello, my name is Melog. You are Catra correct?".

My eyes widen and I snap my head up to look at the lion. I then look at Adora and ask, "A-Adora do you hear it speaking to?!". Adora's brows raise and she says, "Its speaking? I only hear it mewling". Bow nods and Glimmer does too. I look back at it and say, "Your name is Melog?". The lion named Melog nodded and said, "Yes, this is my home planet. The one known as Horde Prime landed and destroyed my planet. draining it of all the magic and energy . Im the only one left of my people". I sigh and say, "Is.. Prime's weakness magic?". Melog nudges his snout to my face and says, "Precisely. He wouldve finished me off but I used my magic to scare him off".

I felt a hand on my shoulder and look up to see Adora. "what is it saying?", She asks softly her sapphire orbs looking into Melog's eyes. I sigh and say, "It's name is Melog. This is his planet but Prime landed here and destroyed it. Draining it of all its energy and magic. He would've perished along with his people but he scared Prime off with his magic". Adora eyes widen and Glimmer squeals and says, "Thats what I was feeling! The magic!". She starts teleporting around before stopping in front of us and saying, "Magic is Prime's weakness isnt it?". I nod and look at Melog. Adora squeezes my shoulder softly, bringing her hand out in front of Melog's nose and saying softly, "Im sorry about your people Melog. But what if you joined us? On our planet, Etheria there is tons of magic".
