Adora watched as she watched her lover fight her psychotic brother. They exchanged many blows, Kade having the upper hand.. Adora's worst fear.

She watched as Catra was slammed down to the ground, a huge wave accompanied by ripples forming where she was brutally attacked. Adora tried to move to help her lover only to be met with restriction.  Her body paralyzed, she could only watch as Catra was getting the work.

Kade slammed his foot into Catra's side, sending her skidding across the water before the feline finally grabbed any remaining composure and stopped her body from skidding any more by placing her hand down onto the water's surface and jumped onto her feet.

Adora watched as a orange/red aura surrounded her lover's body as she held her side.. her chest heaving before she turned to look at Adora.

Adora's eyes widened when she saw the feline mouthing these words to her: 'Im not giving up yet.. I'll see you after this'. Adora nodded, her body was still paralyzed but she watched the fight intently.

Watching each punch and kick, every bolt of lightning that was directed and redirected, every clone that was formed and destroyed. Her eyes widened when she saw the two siblings run at eachother, so fast that if she blinked she would've missed it.

Catra had a blue orb in her palm and Kade had electricity wrapped around his palm in the shape of a sword.  Adora's eyes widened in horror as she watched the two collide, a large bright light blinded her.

Adora blinked away the blurriness of her vision, her heart stopping when she saw Catra lying on land , her right arm blown off the only thing left of it was her bicep and up, blood was splattered all over the ground staining it. Kade was next to Catra his left arm blown up just like Catra's blood gushing from their limbs and stained the ground. Catra looked up at her and mouthed weakly, 'I love you'

And everything went black

"NOOOOOOOOOO!", Adora woke up yelling, trembling and in tears. Catra woke up immediately wrapping her arms gently yet tightly around her lover and pulling her into her chest.

"Shhhhh baby, shhhh im right here", Catra coos softly into the blonde's ear as she ran a gentle hand through the girl's messy golden hair. It was around 3 am or 4 it was hard to tell but it was still very late.

Adora clutched onto the back of Catra's shirt and sobbed into her chest. Catra rubbed the girl's back softly and cradled her head lovingly. Catra was wide awake now, focused on soothing the girl in her arms as Adora's shoulders shook hysterically and her tears soaked the feline's shirt.

Catra hummed against the top of Adora's head and whispered softly, "Im right here.. its ok baby let it all out im right here".

Adora finally calmed down and loosened her grip on Catra's shirt and spoke in a little voice, "S-Sorry for waking you Catra". Catra scoffed and hooked her index finger under Adora's chin and tilted it up so her lover was looking into her eyes.

"Don't apologize my love, I could care less about my sleep right now. Im worried about you, stress can cause alot of problems. L-Like high blood pressure and heart disease a-and it can cause our little ba-baby to be born prematurely a-and I just want to make sure y-you and the baby are ok", Catra rambled on making the girl in her arms smile knowing that Catra was still adorably worried for her. All of the sadness and haunting images from before were long gone in Adora's memory.
