Banter and Sparring

Catra's POV:

I snapped out of my trance and sighed, turning around to see that the little ones had dispersed.  "Damn, was I really staring for that long? Didnt seem like it", I murmured to myself scratching the back of my neck before the sounds of grunting caught my attention.

I walk towards the source of the sound to see that Bow was sparring with the cadets that were training to be a knights. I smirked and waited for Bow to strike another cadet down before making my entrance. I clap my hands slowly and step out, a smug grin on my face and I say, "Very nice Bow-Man... but lets see how you do against someone thats gotten 19 years of training in them". I stop in front of him, crossing my arms over my chest and smirking at the man in front of me.

Bow chuckles and turns to the cadets and says, " Come on, this is going to be easy peasy". I chuckle and take off my shirt, raising a brow when a bunch of the cadets started squealing. Bow looks at me and says, "Oh so its going to be shirtless eh?". I nod and say, "Yep, what is it pretty boy? Scared for some skin on skin contact?". Bow snorts and takes the armor he had strapped onto his chest and to the ground and strips off his training shirt so that we both were shirtless.

My eyes widened when some of the female cadets started yelling my name and begging for me to wink at them or say something. Bow chuckles and says, "Lookie lookie kitty, seems like you got quite the fans eh?". I roll my eyes and throw the shirt I had in my hand down on the sand and say smugly, "It seems so Bow-Man". Before I crack my knuckles and neck and jump once or twice before getting in my fighting position.

Bow does the same before he goes into the same position I am in. We circle each other slowly, I would occasionally feint lunging towards him to read his reaction and smirked when I realized what he was doing. He wants me to break so he can sweep my leg. I just need to be patient. After a while, Bow growls and breaks first lunging towards me, throwing a hard left hook towards me before I ducked under his arm, hit his fist away with my elbow making him yelp before kneeing him in the stomach making him lose his balance and hit the ground with a small "oomph" leaving his mouth.

I chuckle and stand behind him, my back to him with my hands behind my back before saying, "Very sloppy Bowman. I thought this was going to be easy peasy?". I closed my eyes and listened smirking when I heard the contact his foot made with the ground before whirling around and grabbing his fist before it came in contact with the back of my neck and dodging his other fist before dropping to the floor on one foot and sweeping his leg with my other making his back hit the sand once again.

"Ok... maybe it wont be easy peasy then", Bow says with a groan as he stood up and dusted himself off and returning to his fighting stance. I nod and do the same thing as we circle each other once again and ask, " How is Sparkles?". Bow grunts before he lunges forward and starts throwing crazed punches as I dodged and weaved each of his attacks. "Shes- good- how- is- you're- girlfriend?", Bow says inbetween huffs and punches. I blink and catch his fist and step back from the knee he launched towards my stomach and asked confusedly,
"Girlfriend?".

Bow nods and breaks out of my grip and starts going on the defensive barely blocking my hits and catching my punches. "Y-Yeah? Adora? Shes your girlfriend right?". I whirl around in the grasp he had in my foot, and bring my back to the ground before propelling myself upward and bringing my foot to his chest intending to drop kick him before he took off the hand he had on my foot and blocked his chest with his hands successfully. I jump back and land on my knee before looking up at him panting. "Girlfriend? Adora is much more than a friend that is a girl", I say before standing up and affectively bending backwards when Bow went to tackle me sending him rolling on the ground behind me.

I whirl around and Bow coughs before holding his side and saying breathlessly, "Y-Yeah I know but thats what girlfriend means... didnt you h-have a girlfriend in the H-Horde? L-Like wha- what was her name? O-Octavia?". I scoff and bring a finger to my chin and say a bit zoned out, " Octavia? She was my part-". My eyes widened and I was caught off guard when Bow brought his foot to my stomach, sending me skidding on the ground taking the air out of my lungs.
